This is a personal favorite for myself and several friends in the neighborhood. Great Indian food - the length of the menu is staggering.
I highly recommend the curries the breads and the tandoori chicken. The muligatawny too. They'll vary the heat according the preference. Be advised - if you order hot, it's incredibly hot. I like hot food (I use rooster chili sauce like it's ketchup), but I order medium here.
Here's the drawback: everything is a la carte, so your bill will be steep if you order off the menu or order carry out. My recommendation is to do the lunch buffet. For $11.95 per person, the buffet offers a great variety of menu selections. There's usually several curries, plenty of rice, various breads and various appetizers like samosas, pagodas, etc. There's usually a tandoori dish or two as well. I'm not a big fan of buffets, but this one is great as you get to try various items instead of just ordering one curry and getting a whole plate of it (when there's ten other things on the menu you want!). The green chutney is the best I've ever had - you'll go through several bowls of this with the breads.
The dining room is either dead empty or packed to the teeth. It's hit or miss. But the food is always good.
