My family pet became very ill and when we called the clinic in the morning we couldn't have her seen until late in the afternoon. After she was evaluated and they performed all the testing they referred us to the Pet emergency clinic as it was so late after 5pm. First we had to pay them without regard. Ultimately I found out Mt Spokane Vet was under new vet owners and I was very disappointed in the concern and care given our family pet. Fortunately we found our veterinarians had re-established The Animal Clinic at Wall and Francis less than a mile away and would have taken our pet in the same morning. The Animal Clinic along with the Pet Emergency Clinic provided the best care and understanding. Our pet survived high risk (30% survival rate) emergency surgery the following day at The Animal Clinic and she continues to bring love and joy several years later. more

The current vet is not licensed for wildlife. She has gotten rid of some of the people who knew the best way to care for these birds of prey. DO NOT TAKE YOUR ANIMALS TO THIS PLACE. THEY WILL DRAIN YOU OF YOUR MONEY AND WILL NOT TAKE CARE OF THE WILDLIFE. more

I want to thank ALL of the wonderful people at Mt Spokane Vet Hospital. I recently had to take my 80 pound baby Akita in for a rash. I have a co-worker that has taken her dogs here and has always had a pleasant experience. I live in the Spokane Valley and hoped the drive to Mt Spokane Vet Hospital would be worth the extra time when I could have seen a vet closer to home. My experience was WELL WORTH the drive! I was greeted with a warm smile right from the start. From check-in, to meeting with Dr. Woodd to check out at a reasonable price, it was the most positive experience I have ever had. I would highly recommend this vet hospital and will remain a loyal customer. Thank you for the wonderful service my baby & I received! more

I recently adopted a dog and since he was having complications from his neuter surgery (done at Spokanimal), the first person I thought to bring him to was Dr. Woodd because of how thorough and knowledgeable she is with patients. She was very good with my new dog and even gave me a tour of the hospital (very clean!) while I was there. I highly recommend Dr. Woodd to anyone. more

Dear Bert, \r We are very sorry that your experience at our hospital was not exceptional. As a business, it is very important to us that all of our clients and their pets feel welcome and receive the best service available. Please give the hospital a call and ask for Dr. Woodd or Dr. Scott, we would very much like to discuss the situation with you. Interestingly, one of our doctors previously worked at the Spokane Cat Clinic for two years and also enjoys the company of cats. Again, we are sincerely sorry that your visit was not what you were hoping for and we will work hard towards providing the best experience upon visiting our veterinary hospital for future visits. \r more

Very dissapointed with the reception I recieved from grumpy receptionist. I have been a client for 15 years and recently took an adopted cat in for a health check. Receptionist was extremely UNFRIENDLY & RUDE. For the record, I was a walk in and did not expect to be seen right away. I hoped to leave our cat for the day or be resachdl. Instead, I was abruptly told I could not leave cat and there would be a lengthy wait. As a client of record I made it clear to the receptionist I was willing to pay for all services ( as I have for my 7 other cats in the past 15 yrs) but she was unwilling to assist me or our cats needs. \r SOLUTION: I am no longer a client. I immediately drove our cat to SPOKANE CAT CLINIC on NW BLVD. and was immediately greeted with a smile and our cat was checked in for the day to be evaluated and treated. more

Caring, Compassionate, and Price Savvy 11/28/2011

Have taken our dogs to another vet in the close proximity that is now a corporation and will never go back to them after going to see Mt. Spokane Vet Hospital, When our 10 year beloved black Lab has a severe stroke and needed to be put down, we called around for anyone to come to the car to make it less traumatic on our pet as well as the entire family. The staff and vet's here went above and beyond for us that late afternoon. They explained every step, and afterwards sent us a sympathy card. I still cannot even get the corporation clinic to stop sending wellness check reminders for him. And the others were callous when I called about the euthansia, but MSVH, was caring, and compassionate throughout the entire process. They see ALL our pets now! more

Treat em as you would your family 8/26/2010

Your not gonna find a better large animal vet than Dr Scott in this area. He's been doing this a long time and knows what he's doing. I see someone is complaining about the price, another vets office cant accurately tell you what an injury is going to cost if they weren't there at the time. If Brad H. now has a happy healthy dog, its only by the good graces of the doc's and their experience. Heck, he'll drink up more than 100 bucks in a night but complain about a vet bill? more

Mt Spokane Veterinary Hospital ripped me off 9/21/2009

I took my dog into MT Spokane Veterinary Hospital for a 2 inch wound on his leg that needed suturing. I believe the final bill to do this is outrageous and unjustified. Over $300. I have since checked other hospitals and their services would have been in the $200 range for the initial office visit, anesthesia, suturing, and antibiotics. I believe Mt Spokane Veterinary Hospital took advantage of me and the situation and I will never go there again. I advise other people to watch out for overcharging at this vet hospital. more

They will take care of your animals 12/30/2008

I have taken my horses to this animal hospital and they are the most caring people you will find to take care of your animals. They take the time needed to answer questions and give the best care out there. Great group of people. I would reccomend them to anyone needing a small or large animal vet. more

Great team of vets! 1/13/2008

These vets are great, reasonable, and very knowledgeable. I take my dogs and horses there. They are friendly and AVAILABLE. You can't beat that! Also, they were really compassionate when we had a horse in a very bad way. That's really appreciated. more
