My dog was rushed here in the middle of the night with seizures caused by a blood sugar crisis. He has cushings and diabetes and is 11 years old. The great Dr. Rose and the fabu...

Worst

Don't bother with getting cherry eye surgery. It's not worth it at all. Waste of money. Success rate very low. Nor were they willing to provide any type of refund.

Before having your animal put on any medication (including ""kittie"" prozac specifically) PLEASE have proper blood work performed. It could save your animal's life. It might have saved my kitty's barely 6-year-old life. more

My cat had a routine visit and was prescribed antidepressants WITHOUT BLOOD WORK, urinalysis or any other tests being performed. I asked the vet if he needed to do blood work before prescribing the meds and he said no. After a week on the medication, I had to rush him to the emergency services - and he was euthanized a few days later. Who prescribes medicine without first checking to see if there are any underlying conditions which might be contraindicated with the medicine? I will not take my surviving cat to this hospital again. My cat was not even six and he's gone. With no explanation... no remorse. Just a box with his ashes. I am devastated. more

New owner, Dispicable service. 12/20/2010

I used to take my dogs here when I was one of few residents in the hospital area and Dr Sleeper owned a small hospital on the same land. Since this hospital's sale to James Laessig, it has gone downhill rapidly and I believe it to be a dangerous practice. My brother is a DVM and when I have told him of the treatments I received he agreed they were often unethical and endangering to the dog. After a TWO hour wait, during last August, for a routine check up, my dog was unhinged. When we arrived back home, THREE hours later (and I live 5min away) from our appt time, she collapsed in the driveway. I rushed her back to Mt Laurel Hospital and despite having the means of a medical cooling blanket, they chose NOT to use it, tho her temp was near 105. ""We dont want to bring her down too fast"" the tech told me. Really? at 105, you dont want to bring her down too fast? The option they gave me was euthenasia!! (due to heat stroke of wating in a hot hell office for 3hours). They put her to sleep and never attempted the cooling blanket or an ice bath, etc.. (The tech Colleen told me everything). She also stated ""IT is a shame Dr. Sleeper wasn't here, but what can I say.. Im very sorry"" I would not bring a mouse to this place with so many other options... if you truly love your pet and treat them like a family member. You've been warned. more

Quit this hospital years ago 12/20/2010

This Dr is not employed there. He quit, along with 5 other Veterinarians in about 2007. Dr. Erde, Dr, Sachar, Dr. Brooke Moore and two others all left at the same time due to internal conflicts. (It has been under new ownership, by Jim Laessig for a few years now) It was purchased by Jim from Dr. Sleeper.. who no longer owns this practice. more
