Brighton does not have a large ski area. There are only 4 or 5 lifts. They don't even the lift for starter to take. Only rope for starters. The time to ski from the top to the bot...

small ski area 11/13/2005

Brighton does not have a large ski area. There are only 4 or 5 lifts. They don't even the lift for starter to take. Only rope for starters. The time to ski from the top to the bottom is about only 30 seconds, but you need to wait for the lift. The boots and ski for rent are old, too. Not good for starters, not good for pros, too. more

Mount Brighton 9/27/2005

This is a VERY small ski area. I believe it was a garbage landfill that they re-created it into a ski area, so as you can imagine, it isn't the best place to go skiing. Very few runs and all the runs are very short. Due to it being in lower Michigan, they use the ice/snow machine a lot, so there isn't too much fluffy snow. It isn't cheap either. I would only recommend this place for a midnight ski, or maybe just a 1/2 day or something - the runs get old and you're quickly up and down the mountain. more

The restaurant offers views of the jackal golf course and the slopes of MT. Brighton. MT. Brighton SKI area is located in Brighton. Mich.
