When this place first opened, it offered great sandwiches at really cheap prices. The prices have risen quite a bit since then, but the quality is still there. I LOVE their iced milk coffee. It's strong and it doesn't taste powderly at all like a lot of Vietnamese places I've been to. The sandwiches are very yummy, although my brother doesn't like how hard the bread is since it hurts his teeth. I don't mind too much but it does create a lot of crumbs. For some reason they "American-ized" the grilled beef sandwich by putting lettuce and tomato instead of the usual veggie salad spread that comes with most of the sandwiches. more

mr bagette in rosemead is a very popular destination for people whos lookin for a cheap filling and good vietnamese sandwhich. If you are then this is the place to be... they have a great variety of choices to choose from and also have that great strong iced coffee that rival's starbuck's coffee.. getting here is not a problem either.. plenty of parking and easy to find... more

Tasty Baguette 9/17/2005

It is one of the tastiest baguette in the nearby area. The place is quite nice compared to other baguette stores. Although the price is more expensive than others, it is famous for its plain French Bread and Beef Baguette. There is even a security guard directing traffic in the parking lot. It is worthy to give it a try. more

Clean place! 8/28/2005

I tried this place when it first opening and so far it has been doing extremely well. I'm not a huge fan of vietnamese sandwiches so my review isn't much of help. But anyways, they also have some french drinks (the usual starbucks taste i guess). The price is a bit more expensive than its competitors (lee's sandwiches), but its bareable. You shouldn't have a problem parking your car in this shop. there is little to do afterwards (there is a rosemead marketplace nearby, but it isn't much fun). Anyways, give it a try. more

Sandwiches 8/21/2005

Mr. Baguette is a nice and clean restaurant. Mr. Baguette is the combination of French and Vietnamese styles. They have many different types of sandwiches, all of which are delicious. In addition, Mr. Baguette sells great drinks; one of the more popular ones is the grass drink. Many people come to this restaurant to get great sandwiches at a great price. more

There is a little stand that sells fruit smoothies in front of the store for $1. I recommend the sandwiches at Mr. Baguette, and I can also guarantee you I’ll be stopping in to take advantage of their incredible prices on the delicious and fresh baguettes and croissants. more

Yes, another viet sandwich please... 8/10/2005

Closer to my home than Lee's and Ba le is Mr. Baguette, another place where the viet sandwich is delicious. I now frequent this place slightly more than Ba le and my poor pudgy stomach is testament to that. I happen to like their combo of hams on a crispy baguette with a side of veggies in a bag. The place is a lot cleaner than Ba le but on par with Lee's. In fact, except for the name, I wouldn't be able to tell Lee's and Mr. Baguette apart because their stuff is both so good. Their baguettes are affordable, the place clean, and the people take your order in a flash. It's a done deal. more
