Best

The portions are huge and the food is great. I love the atmosphere and the service was great !!! Pros: good price for Vegas near the strip Cons: can't think of any

Worst

This place is much like any other casino cafe. Marginal and overpriced. While the service was good and the dining area was nice, the ambience was noisy. The food was just '...

Shrimp and Steak special not so special 11/25/2008

The turkey burger on a wheat bun was okay but as for the shrimp and steak special, the steak was burnt to a crisp, no garlic in the bland blob of mashed potatoes, and no freakin roll! The service was sub par, it didn't seem like any of the waiters even wanted to be there, like they all really hated there jobs. It made for a kind of depressing atmosphere. Plus, our waiter dropped the neighboring booth's patron's credit card on the floor without even noticing! I had to pick it up and give it to them. It was over-priced, mediocre food. Pros: turkey burger not bad Cons: bad service, bad steak more

Best breakfast in town 8/17/2008

The portions are huge and the food is great. I love the atmosphere and the service was great !!! Pros: good price for Vegas near the strip Cons: can't think of any more

Mr. Lucky's Rocks! 6/23/2008

It never fails. I always end up at Mr. Lucky's at 3am with a big ole plate of buffalo wings, which are great. Quick service, great diverse menue, friendly and fast service. Pros: Great service, good food, moderately priced. more

Best Breakfast All Day Long 4/10/2008

My husband and I visited Vegas during Easter Week 2008. Mr. Lucky's was the best place we ate at for breakfast. While our waitress was a tad snotty, our food was served hot and it was delicious. I would recommend the french toast. My husband had a pancake the size of the plate, 1/4 waffle and the cinnamon bun french toast (special). He said it was to die for. He couldn't finish it all but really enjoyed the CB French Toast. If you are looking for breakfast any time of the day while in Vegas, Mr. Lucky's is THE PLACE TO EAT. Pros: Breakfast all day long! Cons: Far Away from our Hotel more

i love this place 7/16/2007

I always tell my friends to visit luckys when they go on a vegas trip!!! the milk shakes are fantastic!! Food is also very good. I've gone there more than a couple dozen times & i have yet to be given poor service!! keep up the good work! Pros: everything Cons: smokers!!! more

milkshakes 7/10/2007

If you are in LAS VEGAS come here & get a MILKSHAKE!!! best ever :) I love Luckys & so do my friends!!! The turkey sandwich is also great & I don't like turkey sands..... A++++ Pros: milkshakes Cons: i live in LA more

Great food for the entire family 1/13/2007

As a resident of Las Vegas it is difficult to find a reasonable priced resturant in town that has decent food. Everytime my family and I have been there the service has been outstanding. The quailty of the food is great. And the prices can't be beat anywhere in my opinion. The crowds may get a little loud from time to time but you get that everywhere in this town. And now for what a few may deem a sexist remark.....damn the hostesses are hot. I wish I could get my other half to dress like that. LOL If you are a tourist or a resident that has never been to Mr. Lucky's then you need to go. You won't be disatisfied. Pros: All the memorablia Cons: parking can be a mess at times more

must get gamblers special for $7.77 12/21/2006

Great deal! 8 oz (?) steak, potatoes and salad. The steak was actually very good for such a cheap deal! Pros: great deals and service more

good breakfast 11/17/2006

I like the retro decor they got going on. And it's difficult to screw up pancakes so I had no complaints with the food. I wouldn't make a special trip, but it's good if you're staying at the Hard Rock. more

What do you expect? 11/16/2006

I am really hoping that someday someone will open a KILLER diner like they have on the east coast here in Las Vegas. The kind that has all those comfort food plates, such as turkey dinners and meatloaf dinners, liver and onions, big huge burgers with tater tots, foot long dogs with chili, and cool little old crotchety ladies to serve you. BUT I hear about this place at the hard rock and go. As usual the servers here are the same as most hard rock servers, cute to look at, but about as worthless at their job that they can be. Too many addicts employed at the Hard Rock. As much as the owners of the casino would like to believe all you need is young trashy dressed partyers running around to attract business, you couldn't be more WRONG. No one wants junkies serving them or cooking for them. Pros: open 24 hours Cons: everything more

NOT A BAD MEAL AT ALL FOR $7.77 11/10/2006

i tried the famous $7.77 steak dinner at mr luckys and was pleasantly surprised that it was pretty good! salad sides, potato and a 8oz strip steak, cant beat the price. i wish the room was a lot less noisy, chicken wings where very moist also. good cheep eats late night place. Pros: good cheep eats Cons: really really loud room more

AWESOME FOOD! 11/2/2006

After a night of partying this is an excellent place to unwind, eat some good food and still enjoy the party atmosphere. I suggest the appetizers, excellent. more

Awesome Food 8/5/2006

This has got to be one of the better diners in the Las Vegas where the food is delicious, the prices are solid, and the service has been decent. There is a good view of the casino from this area and the funky decor compliments the overall theme of the Hard Rock. Definitely worth heading out to if you happen to be at the Hard Rock. Pros: Inexpensive, Great Food, Service Cons: Popular, Crowded more

One of the best steaks I ever had 7/14/2006

My dad was a grocery store owner and my uncle was a butcher, so I've known for a long time what I need to look for in a great steak. I think I found nearly all the ingredients in Mr. Lucky's $7.77 special. It's a New York strip, and New York strips aren't always that tender. This, though, could be cut with your fork. It had a wonderful flavor from either a marinade or rub. And it was just about the right size. Oh, and by the way, the shrimp, baked potato and salad were fantastic, too. Pros: Everything Cons: Nothing more

I lived in Vegas for 3 years... Mr. Luckys is where my friends and I all chose to eat, especially late at night. My mom also enjoys this place, she loves their Iced Tea, and also asks people to bring her a bottle of their balsamic vinegar whenever someone goes to Vegas. I very infrequently had BAD service here, and even after being gone from Vegas nearly a year, and only going back a couple times since then, my favorite waitress STILL remembers my name and what my favorite meal is. I recommend this place to EVERYONE i know that goes to Vegas.... more

A bit pricey and bland 3/30/2004

Its not a great restaurant, nor even a good one, but the food is alright after a night of clubbing and the crowd is trendy.....but there are way better places than this..... Pros: Large menu, Trendy more

Wouldn't go out of my way... 1/4/2004

The food was just OK for the price, the decor reminiscent of the Rock Schlock that the Hard Rock Cafe is known for and the floor under my chair was sticky. Our appetizers came (after a gentle reminder) about a minute before lunch. We made a special trip to the restaurant and were not impressed. Cons: Too young and hip, Mediocre food more

24-hour Lifesaver! 5/15/2003

While the food here isn't all that special, it IS always available. Mr. Lucky's is located right off the gambling floor of the Hard Rock Hotel's casino, which adds a bit of glamour to the atmosphere which otherwise is a little bland as well. But our Atkin's Diet requests were graciously accommodated & we ate breakfast here daily. The hostesses are a bit on the vain/rude side, which is a pity, since most of the servers really rock. The person who noted that the servers ""rely on their good looks for tips"" was exaggerating & also, being a bit unkind. Pros: open 24/7, accomodating, good, basic food Cons: food is "OK", crowded at meal time, can get loud more

Great for every meal 1/10/2003

If you want a quick bite, this is a great coffee shop. I recommend the grilled tuna steak sandwich cooked medium well. It's still pink and loaded with zesty cajun taste. more

Forget it.... 1/9/2003

I have been to Lucky's a few times for the specials, always years apart hoping the service had improved. The service here sucks, and the food is not that great for the price. The servers (male and female) rely on looks rather than skill to make tips. I would rather go to Pink Taco around the corner or Arizona Charlies Sourdough Cafe for late night dining. more
