Good ice cream, convenient location 3/25/2006

Moxley's has rich, creamy ice cream in a lot of flavors. I've found their quality to be a little uneven; the chocolate had an odd off flavor to it but the coconut is to DIE for. Vanilla is very good but the mint chocolate chip could be a little sweeter and mintier---etc. You can have a taste before buying. The place is clean and service is good. Parking is easy but the location (sprawling strip mall with few interesting shops) isn't very conducive to strolling with a cone on a summer evening. more

Homemade Ice Cream 8/4/2005

Moxley was the name of a dog who's owner one day decided to open an ice cream shop, hence the name "Moxley's". With fresh, homemade ice cream and an amazing assortment of flavors, Moxley's ice cream is an addiction for those who live in Towson. With one location across from the Maryland State Fairgrounds in Timonium and another in the "circle" in Towson by Towson Town Center Mall, getting to a Moxley's in that area is convenient. Decorated with a bit of an "old time ice cream parlor" look with scoopable ice cream and a large array of toppings, Moxley's has an interesting and highly addictve business going on. Local and good, Moxley's is great to visit during the summer (and even in the winter!) more
