Mountain View Chapel

Mountain View Chapel is the best church my family has ever attended. No church is perfect because no person is perfect. Only one person on the face of this earth ever lived a perfect life and that was Jesus Christ. One of the many blessings of this church is that they recognize that fact. The Pastor, Elders and Deacons are humble and down to earth people who make no claims to be superior or perfect individuals, but rather just do the best job they can to serve the body of Christ. The teachings are right from the word of God and do no stray from His word. Pastor Chris is one of the best preachers I have ever listened to, breaking his messages down to explain them on a level that provides clear understanding and practical application. There is room for everyone who attends to serve in some capacity and Mountain View encourages people to use their gifts and skills to grow as individuals and among the church and community as well. There will always be negative comments about anything in this life, but I encourage you to come visit this church for yourself. As for me and my family we love Mountain View and are truly blessed to be a part of such an awesome group of people who love the Lord. Hope to see you there! more

Visit this church only if you want to laugh yourself silly. Read the audio sermons regarding the role of man and the role of man and woman. You will be dumbfounded at the idiocy of the pastor. It's like stepping back into the 1950's. Please do not believe any of this rubbish. It is so scary, yet so laughable that anyone would believe this. Run, don't walk, to get away from this church. more

MVC is a great church where you will grow spiritually at the very first visit. At times a service can become very deep or the pastor jumps around and you can not really get what he is trying to teach you. Here you are fed daily with the word and you leave with a desire to put into reality what you have learned. The church is very friendly and we are learning so much. Pros: Pastor gives a lot of application to apply to our lives each service Cons: It's in Douglasville not as close as I would like but it's worth the trip more
