Elegant? I think not! Bed and Breakfast atmosphere? No way! Views? None! Only of overgrown shrubs and trees. This place was a dump. For $150 a night, I expect much better. Do NOT make a reservation if your plans are subject to change. We changed our other plans (for our anniversary!) to stay here because we were going to be charged for the room anyway- even though the ""policy"" was not clearly explained to us. The manager was very rude and unreasonable. When we got there, it was totally unacceptable. There was no view as it says on the website. The room was dingy and stinky. The carpet was dirty, the bed was hard, and the sheets were stained and tattered. The very small pool was filled with older guests. Not a place to be romantic!! It is close to the lake, but that is the only positive I can think of to say about it. Not the romantic getaway it is advertised to be at all!
