In ShortThe summit offers sweeping views of Reno, Washoe Valley and Lake Tahoe. On stormy days, the steep, winding access road can be hazardous, and may close. Snowmaking equipment was installed on the main base and nearby beginner slopes. Intermediates will find enough to keep them occupied, but the area is best known for its challenging advanced runs, which require sharp edges.
