I have not had one smooth visit here. In 15,000 miles, I have had to take my used car in seven times for various repairs. All of the brake pads and rotors have had to be replaced ...

Outstanding Service 6/17/2010

My wife and I recently visited Moran Chevrolet for an oil change. We got a card in the mail, and figured we'd give them a try. The price wasn't bad and was a heck of a lot better than those joe schmoe quick change places we've been to in the past. When we got there, we were greeted at the door with a simling employee who actually said welcome to Moran Chevrolet as he was holding the door open for us. (that was nice). When we got inside we noticed that everything was super clean and everyone was smiling (not grumpy of pissed off like some other places we've been) One of the employees took all of our information quickly, and looked up my wifes 04 Saturn. He said it wouldn't be a bad idea to get a tire rotation while we were at it, and gave us a coupon right off the bat. We knew she needed one, but we're holding off due to the cost. Some places offer it for free, but add on a bunch of other costs. These guys however didn't, and the coupon he gave us saved us about $15 bucks! Not much I know, but 15 bucks is 15 bucks, and to just offer it up right away, that made us feel pretty special. Pros: Fast, Friendly, Clean, Affordable Cons: not open on weekends more

horrible service refused to fix truck 6/28/2008

my truck is a brand new 2500hd diesel. I brought my truck here thinking they would fix it, they did not, they installed the wrong part on my truck then said oh wait we put the wrong part on after they drove it up and heard a clunking noise from the front end. the service manager wayne goodlo kicked me out because i told me he is stupid for not knowing how to fix my truck, i told him the parts it needed, i showed him five other write ups from seperate shops, he still refused to work on my truck. they stand by there name MORON, they are stupid and ignorant. my truck is being bought back now so thankfully i do not have to deal with there stupidity of not knowing how to fix vechicles and refusing to work on them because they do not know what to do. when i put my truck into four wheel drive the front tires pulled in. he said thats because the transfercase in binding up due to the front tires being an 1/8 in lower in tread than the rear, the service manager said put new tires on it, i did he said well we have to scan the tires to make sure that they are all rotating at the same speed or there is nothing i can do for you. so i brought it back up the next day and he refused to do as he said he would. they do not know what they are doing or talking about all they do is feed you a bunch of bs so they do not have to fix the real problem and leave you stuck with it. for my trucking being a 2500hd it should not be broke like this, i couldnt even use four wheel drive in the snow in fear of my life from the truck going where ever it wants to pull and yank it self. i would not recommend anyone going there for service nore to buy a vehicle Pros: if you have nothing better to do than sit wait and be lied to this is where u want to go Cons: they can not fix anything more

On top of that, their service department is incredibly over-priced, so I ended up having them replaced elsewhere at less than half of Moran's price. In my experience, ""Mrbill101"" could not be further from the truth -- he probably is an employee. more

Great place for service and sales 9/4/2005

These guys are the best. I drive way out of my way to go there, very nice staff, great workmanship. Our whole family goes there and everyone I talk to I tell them how great it is. Last car was import, because of service I will be replacing wife's Honda with a Chevy when the time comes. Thanks for a great American dealership. Pros: everything, did I say everything, yes, everthing more
