Good Chinese Take-Out in Wallingford 1/17/2006

My wife and I stopped in at the Moon Temple Restaurant this evening for take-out and we were pleasantly surprised. Judging from the empty restaurant, we were a little wary when we ordered but we figured we'd give it a shot. Our order included spring rolls, beef with broccoli, budda's delight, and a chicken and vegetable dish. We also ordered brown rice. While the meal wasn't mind blowing, it was good enough for us to put it on our list of quality take-out places in Wallingford. We may not go back soon, be we will go back. more

Okay food but local delivery makes it great 8/4/2005

This place is conveniently located near to my house, so it is perfect for those lazy nights when we are caving chinese but do not want to leave the house. They deliver free of charge and are fast! There are regulary 20% off coupons which makes the deal even sweeter!!! The food does not measure up to my favorite Louie's - not that it is bad, but it is lacking something that I cannot quite put my finger on. I am a regular customer here, so obviously it is good food. more

It isn't Shanghai Garden but it is still good 9/17/2004

We tried this place first b/c they have a rockin' (well, an open..) bar that is open late and is somewhat hip. Now that Sea Monster and Wonder Bar are open, who knows what the bar scene is like. The food is fresh and good- moosho veggies, sizzling rice soup were quite nice. more
