This place is a great spot for consistently fresh and delicious sushi. I highly recommend the Sea of Love Roll, Playboy Roll, Spider Roll, their Crab Wontons and Spring Rolls. The restaurant is very clean and run well. Food is always prepared to perfection. Check it out! more

Miami has lots of good Thai places. Moon is an example. The basil duck and jungle curry are good. The red gang curry is a little tame. I would not recommend the fried egg rolls. They're small and not very tasty.\r \r I prefer the Siam Palace, but Moon is not bad.\r \r Somewhat grimy. Needs cleaning and painting. more

4/5 stars\r \r I had the Dynamite Shell, Tuna Usuzukuri, and Salmon Salad the other day for lunch (I am training for a marathon - I have a good appetite!). The salmon salad and the tuna usuzukuri were both very good. The dynamite shell was ok, but I probably wouldn't order it again, the imitation crab leaves much to be desired..\r \r The server was polite and fairly attentive, but a bit awkward. Loads of parking, yet it was still tough to find a spot during the lunch rush. I was a big fan of their outdoor seating. more

super lunch special! 6/1/2011

Wow. Lunch special for under $11? Yup. And there are a bunch of choices too! Thai. Japanese, and noodle dishes as well as sushi. Some of the sushi choices run a little over $11, but they still seem like a pretty good deal. Me and my friends really like coming here because besides the food being good, everyone seems so nice :) more

Carless, hungover, and craving something spicy, I consulted Yelp on my phone to see what restaurants there were in the nearby vicinity and found Moon. I went online to check out the site and, discovering that you could place an order online, decided to try it out. I ordered the Green Curry Chicken lunch special (I think the lunch special option is Red Curry but online I managed to change the order to Green Curry) and started walking to the restaurant. By the time I got there, they already had my order ready! Talk about prompt service.\r In addition to the Green Curry Chicken, the lunch special came with a salad, miso soup, and rice, all for only $10. Talk about a great deal. Not only was it cheap, but the food was good quality as well. The curry was great, with just the right amount of spice. The salad was decent, and the miso soup was on the salty side, but it wasn't the main dish, after all.\r You'll definitely leave satisfied (full and feeling like you cheated Moon out of good money) when you order the lunch special from Moon. more

Very pleased with both the sushi and Thai. Ordered take out, got the California roll, spider roll, and eel roll. All were good, eel was great! Also got the beef red curry extra spicy and it rocked! Good portions, plenty spicy, and really delicious. Read the reviews previous to ordering and wasn't disappointed, would definitely hit this place again. more

This sushi and thai place near UM in the Gables is perfect for a quick, easy and cheep dinner. The menu is everything you would want, and the prices are spot on. I would go back if in the area. more

i don't eat sushi, but it happens to be my boyfriend's favorite, so we are always looking for new sushi restaurants offering a menu with options and not just chicken teriyake... moon's menu is extensive and their food is great... everything from the red curry to the dumplings to the spring rolls... coconut shrimp... awesome.. more

Spicy Conch, Seaweed Salad, Playboy Roll, Chicken Curry, Pad Thai, etc! Never had a bad experience here. I also frequent the Weston location and that is equally impressive. Great atmosphere! Love the outdoor seating at the Gables location! One of my faves, for sure! more

Gotta Try It 4/7/2009

Okay I gotta admit I was a little put off by the venue...it took me a few visits to really warm up to the place. But I love the panang and massaman curry chicken. And Thai Donuts. Great for pick up! They also offer sushi which I've had and was surprisingly good. And the people remember me so that's a nice touch. They love to fill up your water but are kinda stingy w. the rice. You have to ask to have rice to go w. your leftovers as they only serve you rice separately as you need it. Great rice and always fresh, I suppose, but really annoying if I forget to ask!\r Pros: Great Food Inexpensive Cons: Atmosphere Venue not so great more

Just wated to let everyone know what a geat dinner had at Moon last night. The sushi is the best i've had in a while. Keep up the good job. Pros: Huge peices of Sushi Cons: small Thai portions more
