Best Pizza in the south! 5/9/2008

I love this place! We travel from St. Marys to eat there. The pizza is sooooo good! Bring cash because they only accept cash. Our whole family loves this place. Pros: Best Pizza in The South! Cons: Only Take Cash, and not open on Sundays more

Best Pizza and Staff Anywhere 1/10/2008

I travel...a LOT. I have the opportunity to get pizza in Chicago, NY, LA and elsewhere. I have to say that Moon River is well worth the trip. The staff is friendly and helpful and the pizza is the best out there. Fresh vegetables, great dough... Went there again yesterday and wow...not sure which is a better reason to go there, the incredible pizza or the incredibly hot blonde waitress. In either case, this place gets 5 stars! Pros: Great food, great staff, great value. Cons: Additional seating and parking would be nice. more

Love this place! This is GREAT pizza at a really great price! I think it's ironic that it's located by the department of corrections and some of the staff....just kidding! Best food on the Island!!! more

Don,t let the parking discouraged you 2/4/2007

This is the BEST pizza I have had since moving down here from PA. and I try to go for lunch once a week, my daughter hooked me on it and she would come up from Jax just to have the white pizza. more

Can't Say Enough Good Things 10/18/2006

My wife and I move alot and came across Moon River Pizza in Jacksonville about 3 months ago. You will never find a place with better atmosphere or pizza. My wife would go there and just sit and watch the girls throwing the dough while listening to the Beatles and admiring the artwork on the walls from local artists. The entire crew works together. The guy that takes your order at the counter will stop by and ask if you'd like a drink refill. The girl cleaning off the tables will bring you to-go containers. Everyone works together, sings together, jokes together. All the employees have tattoos or piercings or wear bandanas. Pros: Service, Food, Atmosphere Cons: Very busy on Fridays; hard to find a seat. more

The line out the door tells the whole story 6/25/2006

Try the t-rex, we eat at the moon river in Avondale/ Murray Hill area and have made believers out of all of our friends and family. They know us by face and have super employees who always are available to serve, get drink refills and make you feel at home. Pros: Value and service, THE best pizza around Cons: 6-8pm on weekends are busy, but worth the wait. more

BEST by the Slice anywhere !! 3/14/2006

We have been going to Moon River since they opened. It is a great place to take a date or your kids. My kids grew up thinking all pizza was supposed to be this good. I took my daughter and her cheerleader squad there after games and now she calls me before she comes to town , just to see if I am free to take her for a slice. Try it ya'll love it. The owners have opened another one in Jacksonville that is supposed to be just as good. Pros: Great food, reasonable prices , good beer and wine se Cons: Can get loud, parking on busy nites more

Best Pizza 7/27/2005

This is the best place for pizza on Amelia Island. Staff is very pleasant and hard working. If you've never been before, you can recognize it by the long line forming out the door. Don't worry though, they're fast here. Pros: Pizza, Great Salads, Fun more
