Montilio's Baking Company & Pizzeria

This company provided a cake testing for my fiance and fiance's sister. In both cases, they decided not to purchase a cake from Montilios. However, We just received a bill for the purchase price of a wedding cake, in addition to that, so did her sister. This practice of billing once prospective clients is inappropriate. Receipt of today's bill forced me to be required to call Montilio's bakery and cancel an apparent 'order'. I asked the woman on the phone about the ethics of billing people that did not require Montilio's services and she hung up on me. I have since attempted to contact the company's owner to further my complaint, to no avail. I have complained to the Better Business Bureau as of today. This billing practice has caused both stress for myself, but a loss of business for this company. I will be making a significant effort in spreading the word about this unethical company. more

I used Montilio's for the cake vendor at my wedding. The cake was incredible!! They made EXACTLY what I drew and described. It was so perfect, it actually looked fake. It tasted great, too! We got gold cake with chocolate fudge truffle filling. A year later, we ate the top layer and it was just as good as the day of the wedding. more

Every cake we've ever received from this backery has been delicious and beautiful. Our wedding cake was amazing (4 layers with a design exactly as I'd hoped). My baby shower cake was unbelievable! It was a huge bassinet with decorations and basket weave frosting. At the height of the bassinet it was 9 layers tall! People were taking pictures of the cake it was so incredible. And even our everyday birthday cakes taste amazing. Definitely our favorite cake shop. more

Not quite as good as the old Montilios but still good. They have awesome rum soaked pastries (seasonal) They make the most fabulous wedding cakes around. Well worth checking out. more
