Simply the best! 1/31/2012

I have to say that I truly value having a doctor that actually takes the time to explain everything and answer all of my questions. I appreciate that when I get results I come in for a follow up appointment in which I can talk about what the result is, become educated about it, and don't have to be anxious over a phone while at home or in the office but rather in the confidential space in the office where I can immediately ask questions regardless of the particular result. Too many of my friends complain that they feel uninformed or confused after brief phone conversation. Never the case with Dr. Shangold; she tells you to come in, cares and is simply the best! more

I am so happy! 11/14/2011

I couldnt believe it when Dr. Shangold asked me how she could help me stop smoking. I had tried and failed many times before and didnt expect her as my gynecologist to deal with this. She gave me extra time and special care, and I am so happy that I have been free from cigarettes for 6 months now never to return to cigarettes again. more

I had a lot of bothersome symptoms, and I thought I would have to live with them forever because none of my doctors had ever been able to get rid of them. Dr. Shangold did some tests to determine the cause of my problems, and she has cured me permanently. more

I went to Dr. Shangold because I wasnt happy with the recommendations of my previous gynecologist, and I was very impressed that she figured out the cause of my problem so quickly and efficiently and then also promptly treated me. No doctor has ever listened so carefully to the details of my problems and concerns, and I will recommend her to all of my friends. more

This was the best GYN experience I have ever had. I completed the registration process online in advance of my appointment, and I was in and out of the office very quickly and efficiently. I received my results online within a few weeks of my appointment. more

Dr. Shangold has been my GYN for more than 10 years, and she has always given me excellent care. She is incredibly patient and always listens carefully to whatever is bothering me, and she always solves the problem. I have referred several friends to her because she is terrific. more

I can see why her patients love her. 11/14/2011

At first I was disappointed by a long time in the waiting room, but the wait was well worth it. Dr. Shangold took care of all of my problems and spent a lot of time answering all of my questions and explaining several things I didnt understand. I can understand that her thoroughness and attention to detail sometimes take longer than expected leading to some delays in the office schedule but I am sure every patient is as happy as I am when she is directing her attention to me. I can see why her patients love her. more

I like the services Dr. Shangold offers online through her website, and I dont mind paying a small fee to handle these without an office visit, which would take much more of my time. I wish all of my doctors offered this convenience. more

I have been very pleased with Dr. Shangold and her staff, and I find her website and online communication very helpful. She always sends my results to me online if they are normal, and she asks me to schedule another appointment only if the results are abnormal and need additional evaluation or treatment. My visits have always been very efficient. more

The new office staff is terrific 11/14/2011

The new office staff is terrific very friendly and helpful and Dr. Shangold is too. She always takes time to answer all of my questions. Sometimes I have to wait a while in the waiting room, but I understand that she is probably answering questions for other patients too. She is definitely worth the wait. I would recommend her to everyone. more

I began seeing Dr. Shangold in 2003. I was immediately impressed by her when, upon reading answers on my medical questionnaire, her first question to me was "What can I do to help you stop smoking..." Wow what GYN does that......... She gained my trust immediately. Over the years, she has not only helped me quit smoking but also helped with a thyroid problem underactive. She was extremely caring and helpful when we discovered my breast cancer last year. She was very kind and steered me to an excellent breast surgeon and remained involved in my care checking up to see how I was feeling, etc. She has continued to provide me with excellent care and has taken care of many other problems too. I would definitely recommend her to any woman.Grace more
