Momma Goldberg's 4/14/2006

Momma Goldberg's is located very close to campus. They have great sandwiches that they steam melt. My favorite is the Pastrama Mama, obviously pastrami. They really pile the meat on so you're getting a great deal for your money. They also have great beer prices, sometimes their pitchers are as low as $5, even for Amber Bock. The porch is a fun place to sit and watch Auburn students go by. more

Momma G's - Great food for a great price 4/12/2006

Feeling hungry for something that can't possibly good for you? Then head on over for a Momma's Love sandwich. Momma G's is not for those on a diet, but their food is delicious. Set in a run down looking building, it has been a staple of Auburn students for years. But don't let the building fool you. Their prices are reasonable and you definitely get your money's worth. There drink prices are also pretty good because not too many people go there to hang out. Be on the look out for coupons in the Plainsman. more

Good sandwiches! 8/3/2005

Momma Goldbergs has been around for many years, and has delicious sandwiches! They have creative names for those sandwiches ("Momma's Love") as well. The building is old and small, but don't let it scare you away-it just adds to Momma's charm. I would highly recommend trying a sanwich if you're over that way (the Reuben is my favorite!). more

Deli shop practically on AU campus 7/19/2005

Great location relative to Auburn U. campus. You can easily walk there from class, or park in general population parking and walk. There's limited parking on site though. Prices are slightly high for sandwiches, but they're the only deli I know that offers steamed sandwiches, which in my opinion make the sandwich taste better. The building itself is slightly run-down, but don't let that detract you, it's just been there a while. Employees are respectful. more
