Contrary to some over reviews, the staff at Mom's did not perform up to par. I had the sleeves of a blazer shortened, and after the alteration, the sleeve buttons didn't even line up!
The second time I altered a suit vest. They didn't finish it on time so i had to wait while they finished up the work. The left side of the vest did not hug my back and made a big puff. Furthermore, the stitchings showed up on the bottom of the vest, which suggests a sign of poor workmanship.
It's either that I received usually bad services or that the people who write positive reviews of this place do not know the meaning of "superior workmanship".
