Mohegan Sun is one of the best casinos on the east coast. This very large facility is like a mini-vacation destination in itself. It has many different restaurant and dining options from the traditional buffet, to the krispy kreme. They also have several nice highly rated chichi sit down restaurants. There is a smoke free game area that is nice for those of us with allergies. The slots are so much fun and the shopping and accomodations are top notch as well. It's difficult to get a room at the hotel on weekends, but definitely try your luck if you can :) more

great overnight trip 11/9/2005

The Mohegan Sun Casino is a great place for an overnight or weekend trip. The rooms here are higher than at nearby Foxwoods, but this casino is a little more hip - from the decor and rooms to the food and shops. They truly have some great restaurants for all price ranges - including a Johnny Rockets. more

Great atmosphere! 9/30/2005

When you walk into the Mohegan Sun casino, you are instantly taken in by the decor and atmosphere. There are lots of slots to play and concerts to see. If you have the shopping bug like I do, Mohegan Sun is filled with lots of shops and neat little places to stop for a bite. The shops are expensive, but worth the money! more

Hotel, Casino and more 9/27/2005

This casino is nestled in beautiful Uncasville on the Thames River. It has a hotel (somewhat pricey) and three different venues for live entertainment. The Wolf's Den is always free and they draw big name acts, there is also the Arena and the Cabaret. Plus they also have a ballroom where you will often find many events. The casino and shopping is clean and you will find a wide variety of shopping and dining. There is a kids game room called Kids Quest which is great for hours of fun (like a Chucky Cheese) and there is also a spa, gym and pool. The Mohegan Sun has something for everyone. more

Great casino, pretty much reminds me of foxwoods. Lots of shops, and a big variety of games. I actually like to play poker at mohegan sun, it's fun and rewarding. Plus I love going to starbucks at the end of my night out. Shops are very expensive too, but you can also find tons of cute knick knacks. more

The Mohegan Sun Casino is a fun place to go. For the younger kids it has a nice game room. They have gaming events, night clubs, a wonderful spa, and mouth watering food. The casino floor is huge. If you are ever in Connecticut and have a chance to stop at the casino it is a must. Who knows maybe you will see someone famous. more

Awesome Casino 8/21/2005

This casino is great, they have a theater to see shows, a casino, and a mall. The mall is incredibly upscale with great stores, there is about 30 restaurants including a food court. Plus a wonderful museum and of course all the gambling, a great place for a local getaway. Dont forget the hotels too! more

Entertainment spot 8/20/2005

The name of the place sounds like it is just a place for people to gamble, but it is not. If you do not like to gamble, I still recommend that you should visit this place to see the entertainment facilities that they have. You'll be surprise to find that they also have a place for you to go shopping, watch basketball games, watch concerts, and many more. You can check the schedules to see what entertainment events they are going to have in the future. If you are lucky, you might be able to meet your favorite artist in real person. more

The Mohegan Sun Casino is a great casino in every way. Its very clean and easy to get to. Their entertainment in the Wolf Den is free and they do have some great proformers there. They have Smoking and Non Smoking Casinos and they also have a hotel. I would recommend this Casino to Everyone i Know more

Mohegan Sun Rocks! 8/16/2005

People either like Mohegan Sun or Foxwoods. I'm one of the ones that loves Mohegan Sun. While I don't go there just for the gaming/casino (which I hear is better at Foxwoods), I just love the atmosphere, variety of shops, entertainment and restaurants. In my opinion, Mohegan's selection of restaurants is so much better. Same holds true with the shops. They have a great bar set up high in a stone mountain that has a planetarium like ceiling where you can sit and watch the stars. more
