Mitchell's Martial Arts & Fitness

My children have been going to MMA for almost 3 years. I have gotten to know all of the instructors and "teachers" there, I know I can talk to any of them about any concerns or issues I may be having or my children are having - whether it is at school, home or otherwise. All the instructors care about the children and help them to build their confidence. In addition, they are now open on weekends to the public for skate parties - the kids now have somewhere to go, something to do - so they wont get in trouble. I have been a student and a family member of Mitchell's for almost 15yrs. I have only seen positive teachings here and always a high level of customer service and supervision for all the students. The classes are taught by what I consider to be the highest quality of instructors who really try to make it fun and exciting to learn, as well as prepare you for real self-defense. The After-school program is well laid out and structured that my children get their homework done and have karate classes so we can have family time at night. Summer Camp.. my kids never wanted to leave! IF i ever had a problem the staff was always available to talk with me to resolve it. Good: The positive influences of martial arts lessons and Mrs. Mitchell in particular.. Improvements: More kids in the Salisbury, MD area involved in martial arts. There are too many latchkey kids in this community.. Other: My son and daughter started their karate lessons at this martial arts school back in January 2003. I enrolled them in the after school karate program when they were 7 and 9 years old because I am a single mother and knew I had to find a way to at least partially fill their fathers' shoes. We lost him in on Thanksgiving day 2002. My daughter took to it right away but for a time my son was shy and reserved. Healthy skills and habits are are taught here..they have after school programs, adult studies, summer camps, birthday parties and skate parties. This is a cool place to hang out. Kids around here love this place. They have a free week tryout also. Go sign up today..you'll love it. more
