I called the store for a dirk nowitzki jersey and the associate who answered had me on hold for 10 minutes. then another associate answered the phone and asked me what i wanted again, then he put me on hold again for another 10 minutes. finally they took me off hold again and said they didnt have it. you do the math on how many stars they should get.... more

The variety of jerseys are great. They have all 4 major sports and you can find an original that nobody else has. The price is a little steep but people are still buying them. Its a great store and the customer service is good they will help you find anything. Pros: Variety, Customer Service, Products Cons: Price, Parking more

make them easier to afford 1/17/2003

the selection of jersey's are incredible, and so are most of the prices.i beleive that you get what you pay for. i'll be waiting for the sale! who are these jersey's priced for, the above average man, or the below average fan. i think that this mitchell&ness thing has blown the attitude of the sales people out the water. treat everyone the same. Pros: selection Cons: price, customer service, sizing more

Can't wait until they file bankrupt.... 1/15/2003

This company is a classic case of a company thinking that they're bigger than the industry. The service is absolutely horrible and they don't understand that this throwback fad will be short lived and so will they!!!! Pros: none, none, none Cons: price, customer service, convenience more

As good as it gets 11/15/2002

If your a sports fan and particularly like jerseys this is heaven. You can get just about any jersey you want. This store is a sports fans Dream. But make sure your money's right average price of the jersey's is about $300. Pros: Various Jerseys, High Quality of produ Cons: Closes at 5:30PM, a Bit pricey more

Will never buy from you again! 11/8/2002

Got a 1974 Aaron Jersey as gift 3 months ago and was too big, tried to get in contact with manager to see how i could exchange only to have him repeat what the other moron on the phone said (tags were attched and jersey was unworn). Your policies really need an upgrade and staff should be reprimanded for being plain out ignorant. This business needs to be reconstructed if it wants to survive. Get professional sales people. And worry were the customer that is being shunned works at. (i.e. references to other potential buyers.) Pros: Nice Jerseys Cons: Bad service., Poor store Policies., Bad sales reps. more

Get an On-Line Store PLEASE!!! 10/31/2002

This company would at least quadruple its business by setting up a good website shop to buy jerseys on-line direct from their shop. Their poor customer service holds this company back from selling to its potential. I've been buying from this company since 1995. Suggestions to them to creat an on-line shop fall on deaf ears. It's a no brainer. No one wants to call up the store and deal with moody folks just to check on inventory. Put your product catalogs on line please. Cons: non-caring, prehistoric, non-responsive more

Attention to detail? 10/15/2002

Their attention to detail may not be as good as it appears. ex. Their 1968 Namath jersey has the wrong number style and shoulder yolk is not like the original jersey. Just compare to the old pictures. I'm not sure of their fabric also. I saw a Sam Huff Jersey that felt like stretch polyestor, the label didn't have the fabric make up. I'm still doing my research. They were ok to me on the phone. more

Mitchell and Ness is unique 6/11/2002

you won't find these retro NBA jerseys anywhere else besides Mitchell and Ness. why? b/c M&N has a license with the NBA and MLB to make these jerseys. these retro-style jerseys were made popular by rappers such as Outkast, Jay-Z etc...now they are almost mainstream....key word being almost..You will need to pay around $200 bucks for an authentic retro such as a 1983 76ers #6 Julius Erving jersey. more

Editorial
  • In Short
Owner and self-proclaimed baseball fanatic Peter Capolino spent years researching MLB history. To date, he's replicated the uniforms of 500 pro ballplayers. Each cap, each wool-flannel home-game shirt, each leather jacket carries what Capolino calls "a piece of romantic American history." But the stock just starts at baseball. Warm-ups and jerseys from the days of Chamberlain, Bird, Abdul-Jabbar and Dr. J attract such clients as Spike Lee, LL Cool J, Coolio and Philly's own Roots. Now MN is also a part of hip-hop history.
