Worst

There's nothing bad that can be said about the interior; mainly because the music is so damned loud that you can't tell your breakfast pals anything without yelling at them.

Next best thing to home cookin' 8/16/2005

We love Milo's. We bring our kids there and they get cute little plastic monkeys on to-go cups with lids and straws. Everything we have ever eaten, while not being groundbreaking, is delicious. We also see people of all ages, reassuring us that Portland has not been taken over by humans under the age of 35. more

Great breakfasts! 6/30/2005

Just down the street from the Cadillac Cafe is another breakfast favorite (lunch & dinner are served, but they're closed from like 2-4 or something). They have great waffles, including a daily special with which you can't go wrong. Also have French toast and egg dishes, all of which are good. It gets really crowded on weekends, so expect to wait, but the food is worth it. more

  • Owned and operated by NE Portland residents Marianne Meskel Skogland and Loren Skogland since 1999. Milo's is an American cafe serving breakfast, lunch & dinner seven days a week. Serving our neighborhood and the city around us, we've created Portland's neighborhood restaurant. We're known for our outstanding breakfasts & lunches and have gotten a tremendous following for our dinners. We serve interesting, creative & affordable Northwest cuisine including fresh seafood, quality meats, interesting pastas and a variety of sandwiches and salads.
    Milo's City Cafe is in the heart of NE Broadway's business district. Just two blocks north of the Lloyd Center, convenient to I-5, I-84, the Rose Quarter and the Convention Center.
