Dr. Kaldawy is good but.... 4/24/2012

The office staff can be rude and abrubt. I missed my yearly appointment and received no call or mailing to remind me,found out when I tried to order contacts online. Called and was scheduled for a month away. Went to appt,I was on time, they were 45 minutes late. Got the rudest eye tech/Dr. Colasanti (sp?) who chastized me for having broken my glasses and not replacing them yet and for missing my last appt. I told her I don't have the money to replace them yet and have no way of remembering an appoint made a year ago. I depend on getting reminders from all my doctors in order to keep my appointments. I was not reminded by mail, phone, email or anything. She proceded to give me the wrong script (mine was increased two years ago) and when I corrected her she got in my face, waving her finger at me and telling me, ""young lady (I'm 37) you have no idea what you are talking about. I told her she was being aggresive and that I wanted to see the doctor immediately, she refused to let me go and told me to stay put in my seat till she was done and that she would be happy when I was out of her office. I am seven months pregnant, told her I didn't appreciate being treated this way and walked out mid appointment. I was able to see Dr. Kaldawy and be done. Just takes one bad apple to ruin it for everyone. Unprofessional, unacceptable and pathetic. I would be discusted with myself for bringing a client to tears and refusing to let them leave while I scream in their face about a stupid pair of broken eyeglasses. Way out of line. Dr. was apologetic for her, said she has done this before. If you go, ask for someone who is not this woman and expect to wait at least an hour to be seen and another hour before your leave. more

Staff needs training 6/30/2011

Overall not a bad place but I agree staff is a little rude and clueless. Dr Kaldawy is good but they need to train staff how to work in a Drs office. Im an RN and know what I a talking about but I feel bad for patients who do not. In my experience non of this staff seems to understand they were in healthcare . more

My entire family has been going to this office for more than 30 years. Sure there may be 1 or 2 rude staff, but this is a big practice and there will always be some bad apples. Almost always the experience is pleasant. Both my parents had cataract surgery and can't be happier. I had LASIK and this is the best thing I ever experienced. I take all my kids there and they can't wait to go as they feel comfortable and important. The only time there was an issue with a staff, the manager was very responsive and this staff was not there anymore. I will never go anywhere else. more

Staff is Rude and Dismissive 4/19/2011

We've been patients for years, but I am going to get our records and find another doctor. The secretarial staff is simply awful. 9 times out of 10 they are rude and dismissive. This morning I spoke with somone named Kendra. She was downright nasty to me. I asked to speak to someone else since I am sick of being treated this way by the staff here. Terrible. Terrible. It is completely obvious what is going on here. Either pattyann1953 works for the ""Milford-Franklin Eye Ctr"" and is trying to salvage the name of the business by creating fictitious review or she is incredibly attractive, married to the dentist or gets her kicks off by contradicting others via online blogs & reviews. Horrible Office Staff 3/16/2010

I have gone to this Franklin office twice and will not go back. Dr Kaldawy is great but the office staff are horrible. Every time I call I am put on hold for at least 5 minutes and I never get an answer to my question. I went for a contact exam and they confused it with a follow up and never gave me my contact presription. I have since been waiting over 3 weeks to get that prescription. Overall a HORRIBLE experience with this office. Will not go back. Pros: Dr Kaldawy Cons: Everything else more

doctors vs. staff 8/19/2008

The doctors are very nice in the office, we've seen three, but the waiting is VERY long when you call or when in the office. The office staff can be down right mean although some are very nice, depending on who you get in the Milford office, I've witnessed office staff being rude to other staff members. I must say that if I hadn't already invested much time and money into the contact lens process I'd find another office, who needs to be treated badly when we are paying so much for the care? more

Caring Doctor 3/23/2007

I was added in that same day and I could not appreciate the woman more for her caring and understanding, sweet and kind in plain words just the nicest office staff I have dealt with. After seeing Dr. Kaldawy he changed my life. I found out I had glaucoma and he has been treating me with the most delicate care and I could not suggest a better doctor to go to. His charm, knowledge and sensitive personality only says little about this doctor. Thank you for all you have done. I recommend him to anyone who wants quality care for their eyes, don't take them for granted. Pros: Parking, staff and the Doctor more
