DON"T DO IT!!! 1/29/2011

If there was any way to post a negative amount of stars for this review, it would be negative 20! We had to take our dog there since our vet was out of town, and right from the first phone call to get an appointment, we should have known that this place was ass backwards. The first girl we spoke to put us on hold for over 5 minutes, but she seemed nice. We had to call back a few minutes after we made our appointment to ask a question, and it was like the next lady who answered the phone had no idea she was even working at a vet's office. She was so disinterested with us and hurried us off the phone. When we got there, the waiting room was only big enough for about 2 cats and their owners-I can't even imagine what happens when they're backed up. And we had to wait-in our car-for close to 20 minutes. When they were finally able to see us, they put us into an exam room that made the waiting room seem like the size of a football stadium. In this room, it was myself, my husband, our dog, the Dr., an assistant, an intern and another guy who we had no idea why he was even in there. The Dr began with a barrage of questions about what was ailing the dog, asking the same question over & over but in different ways, kind of like trying to catch us in a lie. He seemed VERY accusatory. Then, the Dr tried to get blood from the dog's front leg. After 3 tries, the Dr then proceeded to pound his fist on the floor like a 3 year old-I guess because he realized right then & there that he wasn't perfect. Then, after trying to get the dog to stand up, he got the blood from a back leg (after already shaving the front one). At this point, our dog was sensing that this quack was not what she was used to (i.e. a REAL vet) so she sat down and refused to get up anymore (the only time she did was when we were leaving and the Dr had left the room). They gave us meds for her and told us to call back on Monday for blood test results (we were there on a Saturday). We call Monday...test results not back until Tuesday (what a shock).
