Middletown Toyota

After coming from Hartford Toyota (WORST dealership ever) and Manchester Toyota (good dealer but not as good of a price as Middletown) I decided to try out Middletown. By this point I had already known what I wanted from looking elsewhere, and was just looking to see if their prices were better. In 5 minutes they offered me a price $500 lower than I saw at either other dealership, and their doc fee / conveyance fee was $279 whereas the other dealers were both $399. So I went with Middletown. I would say the price was great, although I did feel a bit rushed through the process. They were closing soon so that s probably part of it, but of course if I am buying something from them for $30,000 I would have expected less of a rush. But definitely worth 4 out of 5 stars. Don't even bother going to this place if you expect to be treated like a human. First off the salestaff is very pushy and can not even perform basic math. The sales manger are not much brighter, but what is worse is they act like a bunch of thugs. They will taunt you and try to bully you into a purchase. We drove the distance to Middletown Toyota because we knew they had a lot of used Toyota 4runners on the lot and we knew that was the next vehicle we wanted to purchase. They wouldn't budge on the prices they were asking which were excessively high-- they told us we'd not find lower prices on Toyotas because of how long they last (we know this, we are a Toyota driving family)-- yet when we went to other Toyota dealers in the area, they all beat the lowest price at Middletown by at least $2k. They had us waiting and waiting without even greeting us for over 45 minutes, as well. more
