With the social patrons, great music, go-go boys, excellent bartender service, and front outside smoking area, this is definitely a place to check out. more

Friendly and fun 7/14/2006

I tend to hang out at this gay Weho staple on Saturdays early in the day, so this isn't your standard party-time review. During my times there, early as they may be, I do have a lot of fun. The staff is friendly and always ready to talk it up. The food is really good for "bar food" too. Drink prices are LA in so much as they aren't cheap, but at 4 the happy hour starts and if you're willing to go with draft, it's not so bad. Sometime around 6 or 7pm, the dancers show up, and at that time of day, there's not much competition for attention so even they warm up to conversation. All in all, a fun gay hangout. Pros: Friendliness of the crowd and staff (daytimes) Cons: Rather blah environment (especially in the daylight) more

Fun and friendly with an Asian feel 2/20/2006

This place is sweet. Has WeHo gotten nicer or do I just not care anymore? Who knows. But everyone here is having a good time and the waiters are cute and approachable. They'll talk if you start it or leave you alone if you don't. Nice mix of ages and types including plenty of Asian guys. Easy to meet, greet and enjoy here. Best in WeHo. more

Busy neighborhood dance bar 10/7/2002

Micky's seems to be getting more busy in the past year, surpassing the nearby Rage that used to always be the busier club. Different themes every night, so check before going or you may not like the crowd that night. Very Asian for some reason on some nights although it is not an Asian club. Dance floor is small by big city standards. Music tends to be typical gay hi-NRG pop. Pros: crowded, cruisy, flirtatious Cons: small dancefloor, inconsistent more

Gay and looking, Straight and secure... 7/26/2002

I am a straight, 18 year old girl, and I enjoy Micky's so much on college nights, I go at least every other week. The dancing is great, the atmosphere is friendly, and it's relatively inexpensive. I only get positive vibes when I'm there, which can't be said for many other gay clubs that I've been to. Gay? It's a great place to meet people, cuz there's an outdoor patio for meeting and greeting. Straight? Hey, if I enjoy it, you could, too. :) Pros: Friendly, Social, Upbeat Cons: Crowded, Repetetive Music more

a decent club 6/26/2002

Mickey's is my favorite club in WEHO, but that really isn't saying much. The music is too loud, and too trendy (Celine Dion remixes? - ugh), but the place is still better than the other clubs in the area. more
