A good local source 9/9/2006

I have craft projects stacked up to the ceiling...jewelry making, wool felting, crocheting, handmade gift cards, soap making, bath bomb making, custom perfuming, custom basket design and on and on it goes...Now I can't really get all the supplies for these various projects at Michael's but I can for some of them and I appreciate not having to drive all over the world for the items I need. They are also a great source for seasonal projects and cheap decorations, lighting etc... It's a lot of fun to snoop around and you can find some surprisingly good deals on different supplies. I love Michael's! more

Michael's is fun 4/20/2006

This is a fun store if you need crafty items. They don't have a great selection of ribbon (I make hair bows, so this is always my first check) but they do carry many scrapbooking supplies abd apparently this is THE place if you're into fake flower arranging. (I'm not.) I usually head to Michael's if I'm in search of kids craft stuff - they have fun little "projects" that don't cost an arm and a leg and are fun to do with kids. more
