Can I have your number? 8/11/2002

If you like speaking spanish-this is definitely the place to be. The music is great-nice variety. Wed-Sunday each has its own night. Th. night booty nights are always full. Saturday is all hispanics for the most part. I just started going to this place this summer...and I've gone so many times I don't even want to admit it. (becoming a regular!...funny thing, I'm not the only one!) When you start meeting the people that work there, is that bad? Needless to say, I love going here because not only is it close to home but the people are great...if they aren't just trying to get a number...and believe me, be careful, THEY WILL CALL! lol... more

Lots of fun 7/22/2002

I have had the most fun ever in this club. This is the perfect place to hang out with friends. There are people from everywhere here. The music is wonderful. My favorite night is Thursday, but you can also have fun there from Wednesday thru Sunday. more

Editorial
  • The Scene
The two mammoth, silver statues at the front entrance are reminiscent of the robot in Fritz Lang's silent movie "Metropolis." The resemblance is merely a coincidence as the inside is more interplanetary space ride than dystopian vision of the future. Pass through the metal detector, make a right and you're in Extravaganza, the smaller, more sophisticated wing of the club. Here, mature Latinos vibe to salsa and bachata music.

    The Draw
The cover charge policy is extensive and too varied to list. Just know this: Guys under 21 will pay through the nose and girls, well, you have it made. On Thursday nights, DJs from 97.9 The Box work the early crowd with Dirty South Hip Hop. DJ Leo is the resident DJ every other night. He plays mostly techno, and rock en Espanol.
