Friendly and knowledgeable 3/31/2019

This store is one of the best in the area, if not the state. I love how friendly, knowledgeable, and helpful the staff is. I always find one record to being home, and they have an incredible selection of vintage audio gear and service it too! Great place for all your vinyl and CD needs. more

Avoid 3/11/2011

With three thrift stores within 5 miles another reviewer put it best when they said you are paying for convenience. Good quality vinyl and good selection but pricey. Service is terrible. Had an experience attempting to talk to the owner about a piece of vinyl I was buying and was met with nothing but contempt. You think the owner of a record store would not mind talking about music. Had an experience with their music medium transfer service and found the quality horrible. I feel bad saying this with so few music stores left but unless you really want a particular vinyl and don't mind paying for it avoid at all costs. Looking at the reviews already written on this site it seems at least one of them were written by the store. more

Very professional 11/13/2010

Friendly employees, stopped what they were doing to play an excerpt off the web of a tune I was looking for but was not sure of the title. They found it and sold me the CD on the spot. Loved the place more

A great place for nostalgia. 8/16/2005

Can't find that song you liked on 8 track or record anymore? Still remember what an 8 track or record player is? Well Merle's thankfully still carries all the oldies but goodies. They have a wide selection of the very old to the very new. They also can convert media formats like putting your cassettes on cd's and your VHS's on DVD's (very useful). A highly reccomended store. more
