AMAZING SERVICE, EXCELLENT QUALITY, 5/27/2012

AMAZING SERVICE, EXCELLENT QUALITY, OUTSTANDING VALUE, AND IN HOUSE EXPERT TAILORING! They have A MONOPOLY in the market............who can compete with the value and selection? A Free advisor, Full Service, Free pressing, Free Re-Alterations, and a lifetime warranty on any garments purchased for life! They have over 1,000 locations and it enables them to buy in such quantity, that they pass the saving to the average person. This location is always busy, but I always seem to enjoy the experience. My wife wishes a store would open like this for women, lol. I LIKE THE WAY I LOOK, BECAUSE PROFFESSIONALS HANDLE THAT FOR ME! more

Buy 1 (suit), Get 1 Free (soaking) 9/1/2010

The customer service rep was as cute and attentive as she could be, so although I sensed being fleeced by this clothier, I didn't really mind it. The downside is each 2-piece Wearhouse business suit priced above $599 was in the quality range of a $299-$349 department store equivalent. The “Buy 1 Get 1 Free” offer makes it palatable provided you insist on a free one at the same price point as the first – alas, the sales rep quickly steered me and previously the poor slob ahead of me to the close-out rack for our Freebes. My suits were tagged $699 and $469 (I think) – the cheaper “Free” one was last year's cut, showing a closeout price lowered by $130 from an original of $599. The Men's Wearhouse's “complimentary” tailoring doesn't mean ”free;” in fact, that was another $130. The shoes weren't too bad; apart from being from last Spring's collection by Johnson & Murphy, the $120 Buy 1 & Get 1 Free deal was a bargain. Although I insisted that I wouldn't need a new shirt or tie, the lovely young sales clerk appologetically laid out several “coordinated” shirts, socks and ties in combinations more appropriate to the 30-somethings than a Johnson & Murphy generation executive. Oh, I did pick up a colorful, knit polo jersey on end-of-season sale ($20 off the original $59.95), having about a 250 or 300 cotton-blended thread count; Buy 1, Get 1 Free apparently didn't apply to polo shirts. Don't get me wrong, I'm not complaining; two suits with alterations, two pair of half decent shoes and a mid-range polo shirt for just under $1,100 is fair even if it isn't something to write home about.. Admittedly, I was quite uncomfortable each time the apparetly more "senior" sales clerk audibly whispered sales closing and upgradfe tips to my sales rep. On a scale of 10, I'll give this retailer a 7 for customer service, a 6 for value & quality and a 10 for cute sales reps. more

Tux for our wedding party 6/4/2010

I read the review degrading Men's Wearhouse and it disturbed me. My soon to be husband has purchased all his suits from there and the fit perfectly!! The quality is better than majority. When we started to plan our wedding I knew who to go through. I didn't want their tux to look as though it did not fit right like the other smaller companies do. I have attended numerous weddings where they tried to save but the tuxes where not something I would have been proud of. These are once in a lifetime photos that you wont redo. I know when we get our tuxes and walk down the isle on July 3rd, 2010 the men will look GOOD!! Pros: I know they will fit right and look great! Cons: Price. But it is worth it! more

Highest Prices - Poorest Selection for Tux Rentals 1/30/2008

As tasked by the wedding party, I went in here to select a tuxedo style for an approaching daytime wedding. Men's Wearhouse offers only one daytime wedding tuxedo (gray coat and tails), at a cost of $159 (plus "routine" fees) a tuxedo. When I told the salesman we didn't want the coat and tails but the gray daytime stroller, the omniscient twenty year old responded, "You WON'T find that in Cincinnati; NO ONE wants that!" I left and contacted four other tuxedo rental businesses. Each offered the daytime gray stroller for the wedding. We settled on Sam Meyers who offered the selected tuxedo style for $87 a tux. Before entering this establishment I never realized a shirt shucker could act in such a condescending manner to a potential customer. Bad selection, bad customer service and prices nearly double the competition. Avoid. Pros: Clean, easy access, professional looking Cons: Poor customer service and selection, highly overpriced more
