Ironically my review was deleted from yelp just like previous people that this sharks have deleted the bad reviews. They only want to keep the good reviews and hide the truth about bad reviews unethical. To make my story short , I went here for a transvaginal ultrasound that they never put a probe cover on and have put my life and family at risk of cross contamination and infectious diseases. Of course everything was denied and it was never done, I guess they think I like taking my blood out every 3-6 months and worry about something like this because of there negligence.If you ever go here for a transvaginal Ultrasound make sure you bring a phone camera so when they are done you take a picture and there will be no denying.If it happened to me I am sure it has happened to others that were not aware of it at the time. Please be very careful and I hope nobody has to go through what I am going through, thanks to this [people that will deny everything at your own health.You will think you go through a big hospital like this and people do their job the right way to put people at risk like this completely unethical and unprofessional. When I bought this to management I was blame like this was my fault that I did not tell a professional how to do their job and did not think anybody would do something like this. A probe cover is basically a condom that they are suppose to use all that time but it was not use in my situation and I thought that since this was a hospital this would be sterilized in some kind of machine that will kill everything. When I called other Memorial hospital I was told that it was just simply disinfected with a spray or a solution not like I thought. this people will deny everything and basically the least of their concern is your health and yes, they do delete the negative reviews; they must pay somebody to do this. I hope nobody has to go through such a horrible experience nobody as a patient should have worry about something like this. Wish I never step foot in this Horrible Hospital. more

Ironically, my review was deleted but I will not allow anyone to be misled by MHS. I'm going to attempt to be as brief as possible. My issue spans from room comfort to staff rudeness so please bear with me as I convey my experience. I went to Memorial West to give birth because after researching hospitals in South FL, it seemed that Memorial West offered the best maternity care. I was told that the maternity rooms were a nice size, big enough to accommodate the mother, father, new baby and visitors. Well, this was the case at first. My labor and delivery room was huge. My delivery was with out incident and I was pleased for the first 12 hours after birth. Then, I was moved to a closet. Almost literally. I am sure there are jail cells that are bigger than the room I was put in. The room could not fit my bed, the newborn crib, and my food tray, let alone my fiance and visitors. It was ridiculously tiny. We had to move the crib and food tray around every time I or he needed to get up to use the bathroom. I could not believe how uncomfortable the room was. I was in total shock that they would put me and a NEW baby in a room that small. Then there are the nurses. My god. Who trains these people on etiquette and courtesy? The hospital needs to fire all of the nurses with the exception of maybe TWO in the whole maternity ward. My visitors were treated as if they were not welcome. A nurse came into my room (before I was placed in that closet of a room) and repeatedly announced that maybe I should send my visitors home. It was very disturbing to say the least. Then I had concerns about the medication they were giving me. For some reason, I had an unbearable headache. I questioned whether it was the medication they had given me and my concerns were just dismissed. After a day of being in a cramped room, having my concerns being dismissed and pretty much ignored, and being unable to sleep due to the nurses consistently in and out of my room, I decided to be discharged early. For the money, this is your best value in the area! This is not a "meet market" fitness center. It is used by all types of people (not just the perfect looking ones!) and their family plan rates are the best! There was no "membership fee" when I joined last, and you get body fat testing (free w/internet coupon) and a host of other services available including free baby sitting! more
