Best hospital in East Texas MHSofET 1/29/2010

I have been a pt at this hospital for at least 30 years. I cannot stress how professional most of the staff are..and how much they have improved over this period of time. They are constantly striving to be better for the whole East Texas area and treat folks of all financial status with equal top notch care. I love Memorial and recommend it above all others. E. M. K. Meets My Needs 8/20/2005

My family has used the services of Memorial Health Systems for quite a while. It is easy to locate, and I love the valet parking. The valet parkers are always nice, and they retrieve my vehicle promptly. I go there every three months to see my doctor and/or to have my blood checked. The out patient staff is helpful and friendly and the phlebotomist has been quite good the last few times. The cost is average for this type of service. Insurance is accepted, and a payment plan will be utilized if needed. We have also been pleased with the care received when we have used the inpatient services. more

Average hospital 8/9/2005

I'd give this hospital and average rating. They are a good hospital, but I've found that they aren't as personable as I'd like. If you have to go to the ER, hold on, you'll have to wait FOREVER!!!!! And sometimes in the halls because there are so many people there and they are understaffed sometimes. The nursing staff is very accomadating and nice and it's a pleasurable place to walk around and be if you have to visit someone there for extended amounts of time. Just an overall average hospital, not exceptional, not bad....average. more

Memorial Hospital. 8/3/2005

This hospital is pretty good for being a county hospital. The wait time in the ER is ridiculous. I have left several times because its taken too long to be seen. Sometimes the wait time cause be several hours so unless its an absolute dire emergency I wouldn't recommend going here. We were treated with respect and care once you get into the emergency room. I would recommend this hospital but not the ER. more
