HIGHLY RECOMMEND 7/9/2016

Called Saturday early afternoon to request an estimate got home a few hours later and Mel was there looking things over had estimate that same day weather permitting work to be done next Saturday Hard to find service like that these days Had contacted 2 other companies prior to calling Mel's and each one promised to provide an estimate and over a month later still no estimate should have called Mel's first more

We were extremely pleased with the service provided by Mel's Tree Service. Our call was returned by Sharon in a timely manner and the work was completed promptly. Communication was great through the whole process. The price was very reasonable. Sharon and the guys were friendly and professional. We had two trees removed and numerous stumps ground. The quality of work far exceeded our expectations. Sharon's knowledge of tree health and maintenance was impressive and beneficial to us. The guys worked efficiently and really made the extra effort to clean up after they were done. Support this family business! more

Mel's Tree Service is Superb. If your looking for a local family tree service that truly cares, Mel's is the one you want to call. Their clean up is excellent. They care about what is important to you. We have had several bad experiences w/ other local un insured family tree businesses and thankfully learned about Mel's through word of mouth. Give them a call you won't be disappointed. more

Great Local Service 9/11/2005

Mel's is a small, locally owned tree and shrub service in York. They're very friendly and helpful when you are in need of tree service. However, they don't respond to calls right away - I assume they're very busy! They do offer prompt service once you make and appointment and their work is very good. Prices are reasonable as well. more

Trees Get A Hair Cut 8/19/2005

These guys are great. Took the time to really explain the situation to me and made me feel comfortable with the services. Highly knowledgeable staff and professional services. They keep to their schedule and provided the exact services I needed. There prices are very competitive for this area. I were amazed at how quickly they work. more

Mel's Tree Service Won't Leave You Out On A Limb! 8/11/2005

Mel's Tree Service is a small family operated business located in the West York area. Place a call, explain your needs and someone will promptly come to your property and give you an estimate on tree removal and/or tree trimming services. The work is done quickly and properly and the cost is average. I would highly recommend this service to all. more
