I was looking online for an affordable place to get my eyebrows done and found meena's. They did an excellent job and I will now be coming here on a regular basis. i'm not sure what the other people below me had problems with and only just saw there reviews but the girls that work there were very nice and accomadating and made me look and feel great more

The service was pretty bad here. I walked in and there were 3 or 4 women who sat there and just stared at me. Then they glared at each other to say ""it's your turn"" ""no it's your turn"" . I felt unwelcome as a customer - as if I was getting in the way of their relaxation time. I don't expect the best service given that this is a cheap place - but there should be a minimum level of ""Hello, how can I help you today."" more

I have been a customer of meena threading salon for over an year now. The ONLY reason why I end up going there sometimes is because it is easily accessible from where I work. Time and again I've seen that the stylists treat their customers rather poorly. The fact that you are a regular customer and tip generously clearly has no effect whatsoever on their service. It's almost as it they are trained not to smile or speak politely to their customers. To begin with, they'll never really listen to what you tell them about what you want. After that, even if you're in pain, they work away on your eyebrows or upper lip without giving u a second to recover from it. There was this one time that I made the mistake of getting a facial done there. Firstly the room where they do facials is beyond unclean! I told them that I have sensitive skin and to not use too much steam, they just turned on the hooooot steamer and went away for like what seemed like ages. As a result my skin was red for like hte next two days! And never get urself waxed there. They dont get it when you tell them that the wax is scalding hot. I once got my back waxed and it took several weeks for my skin to recover.\r Anyways, the only time that I've seen good service there is when the owner/manager is present. Never go there in the evenings when the manager has left and the stylists are left to themselves. \r There are several threading salons around the city, go ANYWHERE but here. This place is quick. I have walked in before work, at lunch and mid-afternoon. It's always quick and they are pretty good. Great price! Pros: quick, price more

I am updating my review, you can read my original review below. But as you can tell I've been a long time customer of Meena's and I'm sorry to say that I will never go back there again. I just came back from getting my eyebrows done and the girl literally ripped a small gash on my upper left eyelid. IT IS EXTREMELY PAINFUL, and she kept apologizing quietly so the other customers wouldn't hear. But it was entirely her fault since she was busy chatting with another ""stylist"" because some guy from the Container Store dropped something off. ABSOLUTELY RIDICULOUS. It's been a while since I've been because the last time I was hear I got poor customer service when another stylist stopped threading my eyebrows to talk to another delivery man about her lunch order. I'm a patient person, but this is ridiculous and the ""good"" stylists that I used to like don't seem to be around much any more. They just have the girls that don't seem to care and don't do a good job. Maybe you'll have a different experience, but do you want to try and press your luck on something as important as your face? If I could post a picture I would, my upper eyelid is swollen and there is a little bit of red scaring and it still stings like hell. ------------------ original review below (four stars) I'm a long time customer of Meena's, but recently I had been receiving poor service and I considered going somewhere else. I tried Meena's today once last time to see if I'd be a loyal customer or stray. And I have to say they won me over again hands down. I think the only reason why I even thought of straying is because I kept getting the same stylist, and she wasn't that great. Before her, I had many different stylists, and they were all fine. She just didn'tperform at the same level as the others. Today, I walked in waited for a minute, then was served promptly, the stylist who worked on my was quick and thorough. I also saw someone else come in and ask for a specific stylist...I think it's probably key in finding someone you like. When I paid, I asked the woman what her schehdule was and she's there Wed and Thurs...and it happened to be Meena, the owner! I will definitely go back again, my eyebrows looked shaped but natural. the woman who did my brows left a bald patch right in the center of my right brow. she then told me ""it was there before she threaded it"" and to ""just use a pencil to fill it in."" i know brows are never ""twins"" but my left brow is also considerably more ""threaded"" than my right. she just simply did a poor job. they did refund my money. even her co-worker realized this woman did a bad job and offered to fix it. i declined. I was in the in the area meeting a friend for lunch and realized I needed immediate attention to my eyebrows. My frist thought was to look for a spa and get them waxed. Then I saw the sign for Meena a gave it a try. I discovered it was even less painful than waxing. :-) I was also very pleased with the cleanliness and the friendly professional staff.
