Worst Place, Food was gross! Owner is Rude! 7/6/2011

I love Mediterranean food and was happy to see one on the strand in galveston. Food was pricey but we decided to try it out anyway. My husband and I ordered Mix Grill and my daughter favorite, Spaghetti. Our chicken was burnt and tasted horrible, Shrimp look like someone took it out the bag and just slid it on a stick, no flavor, Meat had no flavored either. SO told my husband just send it back and not to try anything else since they are pricey and we know the food was not good. My daughter ate a few bites of spaghetti and was begging for her juice. I tried the spaghetti to see what was wrong cause thats her favorite, she would had eaten the whole plate. It was packed with pepper, no wonder she couldn't eat it. Ok now its time for the manager to know whats going on so he can fix the problem for the next people that orders food from them. Well we get a visit from the owner, I start telling him how there was so much pepper in my daughter food that she couldn't eat it, he wouldnt even let me get the words out and cut me off and says well thats how i make it and i dont know who makes spaghetti without pepper. I told him i understand, but a child cant eat so much pepper in the food. He didnt care what i had to say. I asked him why didnt it have meat sauce and he says thats not how he makes it. I showed him the menu, it says spaghetti topped with meat sauce and bread. There were no meat nor bread. He yelled at us to get the hell out of his restaurant. He got mad at me because he had his own menu incorrect,. I was gathering our things and he kept yelling to get the hell out of his restaurant. I eat mediterraean food all the time. this was the worst taste, experience i ever had at one. On top of that my husband got food poisoning, the restroom was not clean, I do admit the waiter did a great job. Owner needs to be shut down and need to be inspected!!!! So please try someplace else where your family will feel welcome! more

Great Place for parties 12/15/2009

We had a large group there for dinner. The indecisive were assisted by the owner, Mazen. I think he might have added a few extra glasses of complimentary wine too. He aims to please! Those of us who could recite the menu by heart ordered so much there was plenty left over for dinner the next day. We all left happy, full, and with doggie bags. Pros: Good food Great prices more

Lebanese Hospitality 4/24/2006

I heard of the Lebanese Hospitality, but Mazen (the Owner) went out of his way. GOOD food and delicious (Mazen) company. The humus was original accompanied by excellent Pita Bread. Try the combination (SHISH KABOB - SHISH TAOOK - KAFTA) platter, large portion reazonable price. God bless ya MAZEN more

Mazen is GREAT 3/27/2006

Delicious - For a group of Six (6) the price was ""peanuts"". The manager Mazen was very nice and good looking. more

Delicious and cheap 11/15/2005

This is our favorite place to eat when we go to Galveston for a few days. Although you have to pay for parking on The Strand (except Sunday), it's worth the extra dollar or 2. It's all fantastic: hummus, tabouleh, gyros, Greek salads, baklava, and roasted potatoes that come with some ""plates"" are seasoned just right. We've always go for lunch then do a little shopping on the Strand. We found them on the Galveston tourist map. The prices are excellent, the service has always been fast and friendly. Pros: Delicious, fast, cheap Cons: parking more
