The SceneIt makes perfect sense if you think about it: The intersection of Hope Street and Blackstone Boulevard is a popular walking and running path. What better way to reward yourself after a hard jog than to park it at one of Maximillian's small tables and eat some ice cream? The FoodEach of the 34 rotating flavors has a lusciously rich 17-percent butterfat content. No artificial colors, flavoring or chemical preservatives gunk up this European-style, egg-custard ice cream, so it's practically health food. You could opt for a specialty sandwich like the spinach Boursin melt packed with veggies, but wouldn't it be better just to go straight for the calcium? Max's mud pie (mocha ice cream, nuts and cookie bits) or the coffee crunch (coffee ice cream, Heath Bar pieces, chocolate chunks and cookie bits) is worth the indulgence.
