they have plenty of therapists on hand, but whether here or in Round Rock, it's just not the same as a Spa. They have 3 people at the front desk pushing the sales on you to buy ...

Awesome massage by Laura C. 3/24/2012

Had my second massage with Laura today. I run and lift weights a lot. I'm also lazy about stretching so let's say the knots in my back and legs can be intense. The first time I had a massage by her I was in such a state of nirvana that I forgot to go next door and do my grocery shopping. I chalked it up to being tired but I set up a second appointment. Dang if I didn't almost space again I felt so good. Laura has excellent hands and just seems to be perfect on the amount of pressure to get those aching muscles to relax. I've been going to the Massage Envy at Hancock for a while and it has always been good but Laura takes it above and beyond. more

This place is so very convenient and the people are amazing. I visited Jen and she was a terrific therapist. Just let the front desk know why kind of therapy you need and they will set you up. more

great massage every time 3/10/2012

I've had several massages at this Massage Envy location and have never been disappointed. The massages are consistently great (Keith is especially awesome), the friendly front desk staff is always on top of things, and the location has a really nice, relaxing atmosphere. more

Reliable spot - Fantastic all around! 2/26/2012

I try to get a massage about every other month, but didn't really have a reliable therapist. I've been to a couple of 'membership' spots, but usually had an average experience. Made my way over Massage Envy Central, and was completely blown away at the all-around service. Audrey and the entire front desk staff is always incredibly courteous and helpful. I described what I was looking for, and they recommended a few different therapists. That's what's great about this place - they have folks with different styles that will cater to what you're looking for. I booked with Jen and she was EXACTLY what I needed. We chatted for a few minutes before my session, told her my trouble spots, and she was fantastic. I'm incredibly impressed with this place - it's a must! more

Great therapy for knotted muscles 2/16/2012

With all the stresses of life I tend to get knots in my shoulders. This past time that my shoulder developed a knot I called the Massage Envy at Hancock Center and explained my symptoms to the receptionist who answered the phone. She was able to get me in to see Kristen that very afternoon. I was treated by a friendly staff and was very impressed by the professional way that Kristen worked with me; she was very knowledgeable about the muscular system and how to best treat my symptoms. She even gave me suggestions for treatment at home. I joined that day and still see Kristen as needed. more

Consistenly great massage 2/7/2012

I have been a member of Massage Envy at the Hancock Center for 3 plus years now and use it monthly (or more). I have had a number of therapists over the years as ones come and go, however all of them have been wonderful. There are different styles of therapists but I have always been able to find one that suits me. I appreciate that appointments are always on time, the calm and inviting environment, and the professionalism of the staff. I have not looked elsewhere for massages because I have always been happy here. more

Service with a smile 1/28/2012

I have always believed that people make a business successful. Audrey at the receptionist desk is awesome and professional. My massage therapist Mark, is nothing short of a miracle worker. He has been in the business forever and his body work shows. He is professional and keeps the atmosphere light and calm. What can i say, He's the best!! MASSAGE IS WAITING FOR YOU! 1/25/2012

I Love my monthly massages and the Hancock Massage Envy has many different and experienced therapists to choose from. Mark and Gracie are great for deep tissue and Jeff and Kris M. are wonderful for a relaxing sterss release massage. I recomend trying all of them. The Aromatherapy and Proheat are both great also, I recommend trying them on different visits. more

A friend sent me to Charlene at the Central location, and I've had nothing but great experiences. She's the best! Also, very reasonably priced and an especially good deal if you do appointments regularly and sign up for the membership. more

Great Massage 1/18/2012

It's been years since I got a massage. Went to Massage Envy on the recommendation of an acquaintance and chose the 41st location because it's closest to my apartment. Holly, the lead therapist, is excellent. She spent the right amount of time on my tighter areas and applied the perfect amount of pressure (somewhere in between Swedish and deep tissue as I requested). It's also reasonably priced compared to a lot of the other places. more

Excellent staff and therapists 1/13/2012

This Massage Envy is located near where I work! I have used 3 different therapists because of my schedule and they have all been excellent. Currently, Jeff is my therapist and he is outstanding. All the staff are friendly and helpful. I highly recommend this location! more

Best Massage and Experience Ever - Maggie is Awesome! 1/4/2012

I have to say, the Massage Envy in the Hancock Center is great. I recently signed up as a member, and MAGGIE HAS BEEN AMAZING. Not only are her massages very relaxing, but she also gave me routine excercises and stretches to eliminate some of the knots in my neck and back. This has really eliminated the a lot of pain ""in between"" massages. Signing up as a member at that location has been a great experience. There is no need to shop around for the next great massage deal. Thank you!! more

Most affordable & theraputic massage in ATX! 12/5/2011

I've been a member at Massage Envy for almost 5 years and it's been worth every penny. The employees are professional and friendly, the rooms are always clean and warm, and the therapists are great about connecting with my changing needs. I haven't enjoyed every therapist there, but for the past year, I've been rotating between 2 therapists - Marc & Keith... AND THEY ARE AMAZING. Each session is unique to what my body is feeling that day, they remember who I am each time (and all my quirks) and they are very communicative (but not annoying when I'm trying to relax). In my sessions, Marc combines deep tissue with a lot of stretching and Keith focuses a lot on breathing and distributing energy. Between the 2 of them, whatever stress an/or pain I'm feeling is gone when I walk out the door. I go 2 - 4 times a month. Highly recommend. more

Won't go anywhere else! 10/21/2011

I've been coming to this location since about a week after they opened. After trying out several [quite good] therapists, I have been with Evan Briggs for about 3 years, if not longer. I suffer from chronic pain, and Evan has helped reduce my pain level as well as the depression that has been caused by the pain. We decided together, after several months of one-hour massages, that I need 80 minutes, and I am happy to pay for the extra time. I became a member on my first visit, and have had no trouble getting appointments or having my card misused. The staff are friendly and any complaints [only about therapists -- this is pre-Evan -- who claim they can do deep tissue work when they can't] I have had have been listened to and resolved quickly. There have been a couple of problems with scheduling -- I have a standing, weekly appointment -- but the management has been wonderful about solving those, too. I won't go anywhere else! more

I never even got to make an appointment because Lindsey spent way too much time trying to figure out wether or not I had been to massage envy. I just wanted a massage. Jeeze! more

Massage Envy Has Unethical Business Practices 1/7/2011

Be extremely careful and do NOT sign up for their ""Wellness Program"" or commit to a monthly charge. Many many folks have had an impossible time getting out of the contract as Massage Envy purposely makes it very hard to get out of it. Best case is that you would turn in their form in person at the same location you signed up for the contract with and have to use all of the time you've pre paid for within 30 days or loose it all. That's best case but many have lost hundreds of dollars because of lost forms or flat out denials that the form was submitted. Do a search on the net and you'll read many who have had to cancel their credit card to keep the monthly charges from continuing. Buyer beware! Massage Envy has unethical and dishonest business practices and they will scam you if you let them! more
