Mediocre Thai 3/17/2006

I liked this place until I actually went to Thailand and discovered that not all Thai food is sweet! The curries here are too toned down for me and come off as more coconutty and less spice and flavor., pad thai was once again too sweet for me. That said, they do a nice som tum salad. Most of the dishes are typical American Thai, and don't have anything out of the ordinary on the menu. more

not as good to me as everyone saids but not bad. i prefer something a little more authentic. i feel like they over do it with their spices. for some reason it feels a bit touristy not quaint. very commercial and you can taste it in the food. it's not subtle and delicious but almost too much and overpowering. more

One of the best Thai restaurants in SF 8/16/2005

A definite cut above your neighborhood Thai restaurant. The food is consistently good. But what sets this place apart is the owner/hostess, who is a total character. She's not afraid to boss you around and if you're not sure what you want, she'll order for you. The decor is also pretty interesting; makes you feel like you're dining in a beach hut. Objectively speaking, the service can be a bit chaotic, especially if it's busy, but they are efficient. If you want good Thai food and a potentially interesting dining experience, it's definitely worth the trip. more

Delicious Thai Food 8/16/2005

Great Angel Wings appetizer. The flavor is addictive - on the sweet side. It is a must have. Curry is a little on the spicy side. Need to tell them to tone it down. more

Marnee Thai 8/14/2005

I heard about the Marnee Thai restaurant from a friend and decided to try it out. The place was not very difficult to find although it took us some time to find parking. Inside the restaurant the decoration was attractive with a definite Thai theme to it. The waiter was very nice and attentive to our table. I also though the food was very good. more
