Marks Element Of Style

This used to be my favorite place to get "girly" things done. Then they moved. It's connected to a bar/grill, loud, cold and to get a massage you have to climb stairs. Thats after you walk blocks to get from parking you pay for. The topper was I had a gift card less than 6 mos old and they would not accept it. I was told they are independant contractors now and had to be paid directly. Luckily I had cash because their debit/credit machine wasn't working. NEVER will I darken their doorway again. had a good cut, a mediocre massage, would have done better somewhere else warmer. more

I'd call it a hair salon with a room in the back for massages. There is of movement in the salon; many things for sale and woman chit chatting. I've had various treatments done and I would give all of them a C or C-. I've learned my lesson and am moving on. more

The Therapist was great in their knowledge and trigger point release techniques. I would go back to him again if it was not for the service I had received from the front desk staff requiring that I use all of my gift certificate for services that day. Their request was that I spend $60 on hair product because they claimed that it all had to be spent at the time I cashed it in, even though my $150 GC was meant for massage therapy. We couldn't come to an agreement, so I paid out of pocket cash for my service and will use the $150 GC at another spa. Later I contacted Spa Finder and they were helpful in getting the usage requirements straightened out with Marks Elements of style, but I have yet to receive an apology from Mark's staff. more

Whenever I have gone to this salon the service was average at best. I got an okay haircut, ok personal service, but had to pay a bit more. I wouldn't say it's any better then anywhere else in town. I personally have tired a couple times going there and still left not that impressed. Its just my opinion, but I would look around first. Pros: easy to find, right off main road Cons: not worth the money more

I've only had my hair cut here (and colored once) but they have every spa service available that you could want. The staff is friendly and they do a great job!! This is one place where you get what you pay for...quality!! more

I'd driven past Audrey's several times and noticed their parking lot was always full. I've lived in Olympia for three years and couldn't find a hairdresser that could give me a great haircut, so I decided try Audrey's. I was skeptical when I walked in, as most of the people working there were a lot trendier then I was, but everyone did an excellent job! I am 20 and everyone thinks I look 25. After my haircut, I looked my age (finally), and got so many compliments. I gave the hairdresser (Leslie) free rein with the style she chose. She has impeccable taste! Lauren, who did my eyebrow wax, did an excellent job as well. After an brow wax I usually end up with too short brows, but she kept them proportionate to my face.
