Mark Twain Dinette in Hannibal, MO has new owners, friendly staff, smoke and alcohol free, newly remodeled and is fresh and clean..the food is delicious.

A friend and I stopped here for lunch and what a mistake it was I ordered s maidrite which is a pork tenderloin sandwich and onion rings it was the most disgusting sandwich I have...

A friend and I stopped here for lunch and what a mistake it was I ordered s maidrite which is a pork tenderloin sandwich and onion rings it was the most disgusting sandwich I have ever eaten it was cold and greasy the onions were soggy and greasy probably due to the fact that it took almost 45 minutes for our food to be served. The waitress was rude and slow. My friend ordered a cheeseburger with bacon he took a bite and refused to eat anymore of it .It was raw in the middle and the bacon looked barely cooked the whole meal was disgusting. I wouldn't reccomend this place to anyone . more

If you're ever in Hannibal, MO, you've got go! 8/28/2004

The "Dinette" is indeed Hannibal's hometown restaurant. The "Maid-Rites", pork tenderloin sandwiches, homemade onion rings and homemade rootbeer are D-licious. It's in a great location, right in the heart of the Mark Twain tourist area, which is probably why you're there in the first place, so be sure to stop in. more
