Mark Pi's China Gate

Well here is another bad review. The food was very disappointing. The Kung Pao chicken didn't have any peanuts and it was drenched in brown sauce. I cannot recommend this place. I can only assume the person who wrote the glowing review is a self-serving employee or owner. more

I love China Gate on Washington Road in Mt. Lebanon , I've seen some reviews that were bad, and I can only assume these people are just negative, self serving customers seeking free goods and service anywhere they go . The Restaurant is always packed and runs everyday, all day . The workers are kind , excellent , clean ,and are constantly catering to their customers , the Restaurant is clean ,beautiful and the atmosphere is tranquil . The food is excellent and delivered in a timely manner . I have been eating there for twenty years and it has been great every time I go there . The owners are friendly and personal and very concerned about their customers and the service they receive . The restaurant has survived longer than the Galleria was in existence ,with a lot of national , local and state History behind it ,and I'm sure it will survive through negative ,spoiled haters who need to get a life ! more

Egg roll's had to be the worst I've ever had soaked in oil No taste but oil...The fried rice was dry again No taste will never go back.... more

The food was very good. I liked the General Tso's Shrimp. I had a great time there. I think everyone who loves great chinese food (especially shrimp) should come try it out more
