Worst Color Stylist and Awful Hair Stylists 8/13/2008

I went in with blonde hair and out with dirty brown. Need I say more. I tried to talk with them and they litterally walked away from me. All I wanted was my money back and no one at their regional office will respond.\r \r Do NOT go to Mario's at all. Their STYLISTS do not have enough experience to properly do hair. Its a shop where they wheel you in and wheel you out................... Pros: Location Cons: They do not have enough experience in Styling or Coloring your hair. more

Sorta disappointed..not worth the money at all. 7/18/2008

I felt...out of place for some reason.Yeah, the color was fine. And the cut was okay, too (and yes. Thats was IT--good and fine). But I guess when I knew I was going to throw down around 100 bucks, I expect all around great service.\r I guess what I am trying to get at is I feel I paid WAAAAAAAAAY too much for what I got. Which is a disappointment, because I though with the Mario Tricoci name, I couldnt go wrong. Well, I went wrong. So, Ive learned my lesson: Dont go just because of the name thats plastered on the wall. Thats not a guarantee of greatness inside. Go because you KNOW you will get good service at a good price.\r NOT WORTH IT! Pros: okay cut and color Cons: way too expensive to pay for just an okay cut/color!!!! more

I am soooo happy to have found you 2 again! My hair has been terrible! Also just wanted to update your info. Meghan, Rachel, Andrea, & Dawn are now back in Dublin....Hooray! Happened to see the last two reviews and I'm a client of Megan's. I found her at a salon call Salon Lofts at Polaris. I also found that she is with Dawn, Andrea and Rachel. I found it funny to see the last two reviews where for them. I believe the number is 216-3124. Hope this is helpful! more

Need help finding Rachel 2/25/2007

I recently became a client of Rachel at the Tuttle Mall location. I had spent that last 2 years trying to find somone I really like at multiple salons. Then I found Rachel. I think she has a fun personality, great educator and I love my new hair style for the first time in years. But now the Tuttle Mall location is closed and I don't know where she is now. Hopefully this message will help in finding where she is working. more

TUTTLE MALL TRICOCI CLOSED 2/23/2007

\r I called Tricoci to schedule my hair cut appointment at the Tuttle Mall location only to find out that the Tuttle Mall location had shut down. Andrea used to be my stylist and I have no idea how to find her. If anyone knows where she maybe working at now PLEASE let me know !! My hair has been messed up too many times by different stylists and I cannot go through that again! more

$60 for a haircut? 11/8/2006

I have been searching in vain for someone to ""wow"" me with a haircut that would look good on me. I got an appointment at this salon and was very pleased with the result. The girl who cut my hair did a fantastic job, but when I went up to pay the bill was $60. For a haircut. $60. With tip it was $70. I was expecting around $40, maybe $45. Now, I understand that a good haircut is priceless, but it shouldn't break the bank. I mean, this isn't LA people!! Sorry, but there has to be someone out there who will cut my hair for less than that and still do a good job. I'm still reeling from the bill. $60! Pros: Good cut Cons: Prices are off the hook! more

I found Mario Tricoci to be very inviting and friendly. I had my hair colored and cut and was very pleased. The girls were very down to earth and friendly. Going there I know that I am getting the latest trends and cutting edge. Pros: Good location more

I just read the review from the girl who insightfully points out that what matters is not where you go to get your hair cut but who you go to to get your hair cut. I could not agree more. Which is why I would highly recommend anyone to go to Mario Tricoci's Dublin/Tuttle Mall location - because of who works there. Andrea is not only the manager in the stylist department but she is by far the best stylist I have ever had. I have been going to her for three years and even though I have moved away from the Columbus area I STILL travel - yes travel! - to get my hair cut by Andrea. another stylist who is amazing is Rachel Color - Meghan Nails - Jane or Angie more

Not as nice as I thought 1/14/2006

I had been given an excellent reference for Mario Triccoci's salon from a good friend of mine so I had nothing but high expectations. My friend praised the place and hair dresser so much I really was looking forward to a beautiful haircut. Unfortunately, the service was average and the hair stylist cut too much off my hair and did not go out of her way to make sure I was happy with my hairstyle. I have been to many salons in the past and I was far from impressed by the lack of performance and skill from this Easton salon. I expected to be dazzled by this reputable salon but unfortunately I was left feeling disappointed. My appointment was in the evening and I felt that my stylist was in a hurry to finish my haircut so she would be able to go home. Pros: nice products, evening times, good location Cons: average haircut, in a hurry, lacking imagination more

bad cut 1/13/2006

It doesn't matter where you go to get your hair cut, it's WHO cuts your hair. I paid over $50 for a cut and it was horrible! uneven not what i asked for and a complete waist of money. When I asked for it to be fixed, I was given a real hard time and the girl was extreamly RUDE! more

Make Up Artist was Terrible 1/13/2006

I went there for a massage and was asked if I wanted a free make up application. Sure, why not. I found the young lady to be rude and only wanting to push product. Then when I went to pay for massage, I was directly asked if I wanted to tip the make girl. I felt pressured and will not return to Mario Tricoci. Pros: Massage Cons: Make-up Girl more

Awesome Hair 2/10/2005

I had the most wonderful day at Marios Spa. I thoroughly enjoyed a facial and pedicure provided by very sweet and professional girls. However, the best part of my day was getting my hair washed and cut by Andrea. She was excellent. Not only was the shampoo the most relaxing experience I've ever had, next to a massage, but my haircut is the most flattering I have ever had. The compliments on my hair just keep coming.
