I do not consider myself as a picky eater, but I do not consider what they serve at sushi land as ""sushi"". The rice was hard, the raw fish was lukewarm, just to name a few. Try ...

Stay away 4/12/2007

If the smell of a restaurant is any indication of the freshness of the food therein then you should stay away from this place. I've been in twice and almost couldn't stay. I wound up with a soda and one or two plates. That was all I could stomach. Well, at least it was easy on the wallet. more

I must have gone to a different Sushiland 5/31/2006

I went in here for the first time the other day and it was more horrible than I could ever imagine!! A machine where they just dump the rice in and it turns out the little squares, 3 chefs who looked bored beyond belief and Unagi that frankly, looked very scary (normally my fav). I wish more sushi places had prices like this, but I am willing to pay more to get more (and for me, I think I definitely need too). more

Cheap delicious sushi! 5/31/2006

Sushiland is located at the bottom of Queen Anne Hill by the old Tower Records site across from the Hampton Inn. I love going here for a quick bite of japanese sushi that is served on a conveyor belt and like someone else said if they dont have it, just special order it. They have a wide variety of different kinds of traditional sushi. I also recommend getting a bowl of miso soup. Also if you want to get the freshest sushi off the conveyor belt i recommend coming in during the busy times usually in the early evenings as it gets late the stop making the fancy sushi rolls. more

conveyer belt sushi is the best! 8/30/2005

It may not be the most gourmet sushi, but it does come in quantity, on a conveyer belt. This place was packed the last time I went, so my main complaint is that they don't have more seating. Their sushi is fresh, simple, and delicious. They chefs were quick to respond to special requests. Only thing I didn't like was their calimari, which was overly chewy and flavorless. However, I've never had calimari at a sushi place before, and perhaps that is how it is supposed to be. more

Fun place to eat 8/10/2005

This place brings a whole new enviroment for anyone who likes to try anything new. This place offers great delicious sushi from anything in the sea. As you are eating you can see the chefs/workers making sushi for you right in front of your face. It is really cool to see them make the food you are eating. more

i'd like to be the mayor of sushiland 6/4/2005

i love love love this place. it's like a dream for me - inexpensive, fresh sushi on a conveyor belt just coming at you non-stop. and if you don't see what you want, just ask for it and voila! there it is. best part of this place is the price. the most expensive plate at sushiland is $3 - most of it is between $1 and $2 per plate and each plate has varying amounts - cali rolls, 3 pieces. nigiri sushi like albacore - 2 pieces. edamame - 1 serving, etc. but don't let the cheap eats scare you away - this is good sushi. the albacore and salmon are always melt-in-your-mouth delicious. ditto for the cali rolls and shrimp tempura rolls. and the tamago. etc. i've been going to sushiland for years (used to go to the one in bellevue) and have never had a bad meal. more
