Great local Mexican food! 8/31/2005

With all the large, dominating chains for Mexican food around here, it seems the little local places get forgotten. Well, this is by far, the best Mexican food that I have found in the city! The margaritas are amazing, you can't go to Manuel's and not get one. The beef tacos are my favorite thing so far, but I'll going back to try new dishes. more

the best margaritas 8/21/2005

In a word: Margaritas. This Mexican restaurant has a lot going for it, but their margaritas are simply the best. Of course they have plenty of other great things worth mentioning, like the food. I love Mexican food and sometimes I get so used to the generic taste of the big chains that I forget how great a little Mexican restaurant can be. The place has a great feel and the staff is friendly as well. more

Best Mexican Food Ever! 8/15/2005

Everytime I visit Phoenix I have to go to Manuel's. It is the best Mexican food ever. The shredded beef taco's are very good and the margarita's are some of the best ever. The hostesses, servers, and bus boys are all fast and efficient. They also have a grilled chicken salad (I know, I know its not Mexican) that is to die for. The prices are some of the highest that I have ever paid for Mexican food but because of the great service and awesome food - I think its worth it! more
