Mandarin Hair Salon

My impression of this salon is of average rating. I didn’t notice anything special about my cut. Then again for men there aren’t many differences in barbers. The stylists were visibly fashionable however that doesn’t raise their skills. Other than the stylish dress code and funky hairstyles on the hairdressers I have no complaints about the cut I received. It’s just your regular salon. They were however quite busy, though that doesn’t mean much. Oh, my cut was $20. Average i suppose. more

I have been going here since I was 5 years old. They have a wonderful staff that is there to serve the customer. I have had my hair colored there many times. I always get amazing color and highlights. My friends always tell me that my stylist is great with choosing a wonderful color that suits my face shape and skin tone. I do have to warn you that the place can be a bit messy at times but the prices are reasonable and you get wonderful results. I am always pleased with my haircuts. more

This place is awful. I do not recommend and i will never ever recommend this place to anyone. more

My brother and me needed haircuts last week again and he was being cheap so we decided to go to a small barbershop for the haircut. It was actually a hair salon but it doesn’t make a difference. When we went inside it was not air conditioned at the time and the heat was unbearable. The people who cut the hair looked very unprofessional and the scissors were not sanitized before being used on another customer. After that experience I decided that I needed not to be cheap and spend money on a decent hair cut. more

DO NOT GO HERE unless you want to look embarrassed in front of your friends. The woman who did my hair completely messed it up. I kept telling her what I wanted and she said "yeah, yeah...I know." Well, obviously she didn't because my hair turned out nothing like I had asked. The ironic thing was that I even pointed out a picture in a magazine just to give her a visual of it, and she still flopped it. Also, my hair is wavy and I told her I wanted her to just style it with a little mousse, but did she listen? No! She ended up frizzing it all up that I had to get up and just wrap my hair in a pony tail because I was that upset with the result of my hair. Never again will I ask for bangs after this horrid experiences. I couldn't wear them down for months! Also, it's a very pricey salon considering the poor services!! Whatever you do, avoid this place at all costs! more
