First of all, most people think that Mama Mia's is the best in the area. I have been there several times and have had wildly different experiences. Let's start with the positive. Mama Mia's provides a buffet service for private parties, and they are exceptional The food was wonderful, the servers were very nice, and when we asked for a salad without meat, they were very accommodating. However, I went to the restaurant for lunch and was given very different service. I ordered the vegetarian lasagna. After waiting forever I was given a lasagna with red sauce that I started to eat. Needless to say it had meat in it. When I brought this to the waitresses attention, she said rather rudely that of course it had meat- I should have know right away because it was in a red sauce. Well, I waited another eon for food that I could in fact eat. The waitress did apologize for the delay and lack of attention, because they had a private party going on. So, before I would go to the restaurant again, I would ask if they have a party, or you might not have a pleasurable experience!
