After driving past the Malt Shoppe many times, I decided to stop in and try it. I pulled up to the drive through thinking I could get a malt in a timely fashion. The vehicle in front of me was obviously making a large order and the driver looked exasperated. Even without hearing the conversation, I knew he was having trouble with his order. It took about 6 or 7 minutes before they moved to the pickup window. I noted the time, since I was already slightly annoyed with the wait. As I pulled up to the order board, I was met with silence. So, I waited. Then, I waited some more. At this point, I felt I'd been there long enough I might as well get a malt, despite the terrible service. Finally, after 14 additional minutes of waiting, I was told "The drive-through is temporarily closed." I asked if the person was serious. Again, I was met with silence.
Appalled by this service, I left without a malt. I can guarantee I won't be back.
