This museum focuses on boatbuilding in Maine.I visited with my husband and our 5 year old.I don't think it's a great place for kids to visit as there isn't alot of "interactive" displays. It's spread out over many buildings and is very well kept but I grew bored of it quickly. It was mostly displays of old tools, pieces of boats and some paintings. It has a nice gift shop which caters to both kids and adults. The price of admission is $9.75 per adult.kids under 6 free, kids over six-$6.75.I feel this is expensive based on what you get for the price.I would probably not visit thsi museum a second time.
