Mailbox

Don't rent a box here. For well over a year after my sister canceled her box rental, The Mailbox continued to accept mail addressed to her. She is a stalking victim forced to move from the area so did not leave a forwarding address with the Mailbox when she canceled her rental, yet they continued to accept mail addressed to her, rather than "Return to Sender." I know this because I had forgotten she'd canceled her box rental and mailed her birthday card (with a check enclosed) to her Mailbox address. They were never returned to me as undeliverable. I had to stop payment on my check. They even signed for certified mail, with no way to forward it to her (she found this out from our mother's attorney who had sent her a document she needed to sign to her Mailbox address, and then called me when he didn't get a response - since someone had signed for it, he was sure she'd received it). I don't know what they do with it (maybe throw it in the garbage?), but they don't have the right to continue to act as an agent for receiving a person's mail after the customer has canceled that relationship - certainly not 14 months after the cancellation. more

I have been a client over 5 years here and I feel really frustrated with those new employees who work whenever and have attitude....I think ... more

the guy at the mailbox knows my name, and takes care of my mail when i am away. it is just one less thing for me to worry about. its awsome. more

its a smaller operation, so its easier for the staff to keep track of each clients mail and packages. more

That you will not be able to forward any mail through the post office when you use this mailbox service!!! This means you cannot go to the post office and reroute your mail, so if a year later you recieve a $1441.00 check in the mail Mailbox employes THROW IT AWAY because they do not send back to sender or forward!!! Take it from me this is a risk! It happened to me. more
