The food is great, went there once at it's new location HWY 6, delicious! I have been to about 99% of the Indian restaurants in Houston and I enjoy trying them out, also I have eaten over 1000 different places worldwide and love great food and great service, the balance is important for a successful experience.\r
However, regardless of the food service, honesty, and loyalty is another aspect of business where this place had none of. A wedding took place there and the service was poor, setup was not done correctly, and the set of parents who paid for the wedding were over charged by over $1000 (or somewhere in that ballpark) due to an incorrect count on the restaurant's part. They claimed they had to prepare more food for that number but it was a BUFFETT so the food should have been infinite - apparently not. The restaurant stands on their ground and DOES NOT provide customer support, isn't loyal, or honest...food is great but everything else is the worst in it's class (the owners and managers). (This place is so dishonest, I guarantee if you brought up this situation or a few others they would deny it completely.) Use you judgment when you go, but as I?m sure you agree no business should ever treat a party (or wedding) like that - BEWARE!
Pros: Nice design, and ambience, great food, but othes are better
Cons: service from the restaurant, rude waiter, stood behind me as I wrote in the tip, cheap chairs in the party hall, dirty glasses too, spots all over them
